Ive Said It Before, Ill Say It A Thousand More Times:No Piece Of Dystopian Fiction Has Ever Been A Predictionof
I’ve said it before, I’ll say it a thousand more times: No piece of dystopian fiction has ever been a prediction of the future. They are observations and criticisms of the present.

sansa in twow for @rorylgilmore
“Someone had left a window open and a stack of papers had blown onto the floor. The sun was slanting through the thick yellow windows, and dust motes danced in the light like tiny golden insects. Though snow had blanketed the heights of the Giant’s Lance above, below the mountain the autumn lingered and winter wheat was ripening in the fields. Outside the window she could hear the laughter of the washerwomen at the well, the din of steel on steel from the ward where the knights were at their drills. Good sounds. Alayne loved it here. She felt alive again, for the first since her father… since Lord Eddard Stark had died.”
sometimes you just have to love a fictional asshole because you lack the ability to assert yourself and draw boundaries and defend yourself and be angry at things that hurt you and there's a strange catharsis in seeing someone be really aggressive about that stuff and even though you have no desire to emulate that character for real because it would be unhealthy and unkind and you know that it's just comforting to be able to explore a purely fictional space in which you can imagine doing those things freely and confidently without having to worry about whether you're a bad person for having needs

What are you looking at? He’s flirting with someone.
no one wants to hear it but love is earned after the initial infatuation. commitment is something u both mutually agree to and then from there it’s work. it’s not work like it’s a chore it’s jus work like it takes effort. to get good at these things takes practice. it takes practice to learn to communicate better and it takes practice to learn to love each other in the ways u need to be loved.
