I can’t say enough good things about this story. Absolutely incredible. If you love somebody like Will Byers, please read this Fic. NO ONE deserves to suffer for helping someone they love. This one hit extremely close to home. ❤️‍🩹

and on some random thursday afternoon i realised that life isn't so bad after all. there are so many beautiful things i haven't experienced yet, so many places i've never visited, so many people i haven't met. i realised life is too short to hate myself.

Imagine the 2023 Party being convinced by their twitter followers to start a DND podcast, they’d be shocked when it blows up.

When they start making money doing it?

Oh Mike would feel vindicated, he would write a letter to his parents (that he’ll burn because they’ve been no contact since the ninety’s) and it would say:

‘Guess who does get paid to play DND motherfuckers?’

Will wouldn’t even blink at his husband snickering as he wrote, he’d just get the fire pit out of the garage for when his husband wants to burn the letter

So we have the ransom of s4. Mike's heart for El's life.

But I expect s5 to be the true payoff to Murray's words and Mike's penchant for being late.

But what will Mike be too late for?

And for what will he make it in the nick of time?

What will the ransom be? Could it be the two people most in danger, and the two people that mean the most to Mike? Her for him? Him for her? The girl who was found in exchange for the boy who was lost? 

Or will our heroic sacrificial paladin, Will's knight in shining armour, step up, casting himself off the metaphorical (or physical - eep) cliff once more? Paying the ransom to save the ones he loves.

in s1 and also pre s1 we see him being the leader of the group he is so important to everyone and its his initiative that makes them go out looking for will and hes the one that never gives up even when they think hes dead

this maybe led to him getting put on a pedestal...

anyway in s2 things r different obv we see them breifly living a normal life b4 the upside down but mike is still like the leader (the heart wink wink) of the party and even dustin having to remind them the partys a democracy when someone (i dont remember who im sorry i think it was lucas or smth) says that mikes not gonna b happy ab them inviting max to hallowen

BUT in s3 things are changing, mike is spending a lot of time with el and not sm with the party

we see him forgetting ab dustin, pushing will away and fighting with him, arguing with max over el and all in all focusing all his attention on el BUT also ending up arguing with her and they break up in the end when the ud comes back he reassumes his role as the leader but its not the same as b4

then s4 comes and mike and lucas argue over the basketball stuff and popularity and wtv and when he goes to cali he argues with both will and el over their deteriorating relationships in the span of two days. all his bridges r burning

'one day shes gonna realise im just some random nerd who got lucky superman landed on his doorstep.' mike clearly has very low self esteem and he feels hes not worth knowing

in conclusion castles crumbling mike wheeler foolish one will byers :)

Joe Locke laying out the script for telling off an abuser. Ben hurt Charlie—permanently. Period, end of story. No matter what happens, how much therapy Charlie attends or how much Nick loves him, that scar will never disappear. They stick into your skin like a tattoo that can’t be removed. Ben gave Charlie his ED. He set those events in motion. Yes, Tao outed him, but it was an honest mistake. Charlie said so himself. Charlie’s Mental Illness is Ben’s fault. Him acknowledging Ben abused him is a HUGE step forward and I am so beyond proud of him. Charlie will get better with time, but he will NEVER be the person he was before Ben. That boy died the day Ben stole that first kiss—and Charlie’s innocence.
