Okay so I was watching the Netflix compilation of the Spadino/Aureliano moments and one thing came into my mind

Y'all remember the episode where they are chased by Lele's dad and Spadì almost dies to take back the hat that Aureliano gave him?where do y'all think that hat ended?

In the show that hat is kind of forgotten after these scenes and I'm just really curious,and I like to imagine that Spadino has it always with him,even if it's summer and he can't wear it,he always has it in his pocket,or has it hidden in his room to protect it because it is literally a gift from(his)Aurelià,he cares so much about it he almost died to have it back.

Imagine in he,at night,has it near him just to feel Aureliano's scent,because he can't have him,he finds comfort in having that hat between his hands or near his face,almost like if Aureliano's touching him.

Imagine how happy he must have been because he had something that belonged to Aureliano,that he decided to give him as a gift.

And if we want to add a little angst,after the end,the only thing left that he has from Aureliano is his hat and one of his rings.

Imagine if after he abandoned his old life,he gets this little apartment,and in the middle of the night he just sits on his bed or on the floor and just hold these two things so tight to feel Aureliano's presence again. He can almost feel his scent of the hat after months,but it's just something his mind is playing with. The scent is actually gone.

And he misses it. He misses him.
