This made you let out a quiet laugh. JJ took pride in being able to put a smile on your face, especially when you're upset. You finally sat up and looked at him with sad eyes. He grabs a tissue from your bedside table to wipe your tears.

He gets up to throw the tissue away and sits right back down. His face turns serious, allowing you to take your time before speaking.

"Work was just really overwhelming today. This one lady was upset she didn't have the right side to her meal. Another lady was picky about how many ice cubes goes in her drink. And this one asshole bumped into me which caused drinks to spill all over me," you moved your arms around as you spoke. "I'm just so tired. I guess all the emotions just spilled out of me and I didn't feel like leaving the house."

He pouts and moves closer to you. "I'm sorry your day was bad bestie" he puts a comforting hand on your shoulder.

You laugh again and open your arms so he could hug you. He happily does so. "I'm just happy you're here JJ. You could go back to boyfriend mode now," you say smiling.

"If you say so" he moves away slightly and shakes his head. "Oh hey baby," you laugh again at his silly antics and kiss him.
