Fun fact I personally find Jay and Zane the hardest to draw and it's taking me a lot to figure out their hair.

Some differences between Kai and Nya's design:

Nya's lips are bigger but her eyebrows are thinner than Kai's

Kai's jaw is slightly more angular and bigger.

Kai's pupil tends to be thinner/more slit.

They basically have the same face base and most of their differences (besides the obvious like hair) are in their body type.

(Of course Cole has never confused Lloyd and Kai when they're uniforms used to be the same, not at all)

"Kakashi's story"

It was created by me back in 2008/2009 when the theory of Tobi-Madara being Obito was not really that popular, we barely suspected anything, so I had Rin and Obito also dropping by the fire when Kakashi died in Chapter 425 (in which Kakashi promised to take his time and tell his dad "a loooong story" about his life) :D

I made yet another Nya and Kai comic you shouldn't be surprised atp, this is not the first I've done and won’t be the last :3

Some explanation: the doctor said wasn’t going to make it bc his fever was high enough to be deadly to a normal human, let alone a malnourished child. Kai's temp was a couple degrees above normal bc of his fire powers, but neither him nor the doctor knew that. At the end, Kai’s temp is higher than a normal human so he just has a slight fever.

And about Nya's independence I think one of the reasons to why she started wanting it so much was to help Kai, but then she kept wanting it for other reasons too (like not wanting to be defined by her brother or bf). However, she became obsessed to the point of being mean to people and pushing them away for that independence.

The last sentence makes reference to the unhealthy obsession Nya has with it and also Kai's habit of not eating.

Extra pannel:

I believe Kai did most of the raising and work but Nya's trauma gets easily overlooked, she had to watch her brother suffering for her and not be able to help, she probably had jobs behind Kai's back and tried to support him without him worring about her.
