always carry a bag with you fill it with books, notebooks, your sticker-covered laptop, keep notes of everything you see and do so if something mysterious happens someone can continue your work

cover the walls of your room in posters and newspaper clippings and no trespassing signs

remember that everything you see is a trick of the light your eyes are not your friends listen to the music you cannot hear but never follow it never whistle in the woods and if you see something on a hike no you didnt
