I'm nervous about the last piece of Namjoon in haute couture study. It's actually finished but I'm still quite uncertain about the whole tone and mood. I even kinda screwed up when re-editing. Thankfully I have four back up files. I'm very open to your comment and suggestion if you feel like something looks wrong or odd! I'll post it around 2-3 days from now on ♡

BTS Seven Deadly Sins AU

Kim Namjoon (Greed) and Kim Seokjin (Gluttony)

Highly inspired from the masterpiece Welcome Home by @sheepishfiction 

Greed meets gluttony in a casino of course.  Namjoon bets high, and then higher, cards and chips changing hands faster than what Seokjin can keep up with.  Seokjin is content to just watch.  He comes for the seafood buffets, and stays for the generous amounts of free alcohol being served by the scantily dressed ladies on the gambling floor. 

The first pair, Namjoon and Seokjin, is done! I began on starting the draft of the seven boys a month after I read the fic, and I just realized that I drew some of them not exactly as described in the fic (for example like Seokjin here, he isn’t supposed to be sitting with his chips) :’D but I keep on drawing it and I feel content with the result! 

Namjoon here has light blonde hair and is wearing his outfit (my favorite one) at the Golden Disk Awards 2017 while Seokjin has pink hair and wears his initial outfit in DNA (my favorite combination). By the way I have never been to a casino before, so here’s the closest manifestation of how I imagine the setting they are in, complete with the lighting. Don’t forget to read the fic, it’s thrilling and beyond marvelous! I adore the work soooo much!

Still BTS related but having a break from the boys. I found myself experimenting again with softer palette and waterbrush. 

I read the novel pretty hurriedly because I was still on family business (a bad idea, for real) and skimming some sentences, so pardon me for inaccuracies on my depiction of Demian and Sinclair here. But in fact no matter what the descriptions are I can’t help but keep imagining these two exactly like how I drew them in this piece! :’) 

The faces, haircolors, skintones, and the outfits (perhaps I should have draw them in the same uniform but my imagination is stubborn enough) is a perfect depiction of them in my head and I’m so satisfied with this work. I was about to draw Abraxas behind them but in the end I chose for a simple book cover-ish designs. Also I scraped off the idea of drawing their forehead signs. I like them looking like normal human just like how they are in the earlier chapters.  Even until now I do relate the most to Sinclair, and I hope that somehow I will be able to have a meeting with my own Demian (and his mother), perhaps with different adventures. It’s always nice to meet someone who is your “kind”, right?

Singularity, Serendipity, Euphoria.

I have no words to express my love for these three songs of our vocal line. I literally listen to Serendipity in the morning, Euphoria when I’m surrounded by joyous feeling inside, and Singularity at night. Can’t wait to hear the one sung by Jin. First fanart in 2018. Do not repost. Thank you Namjoon for your wonderful, golden lyrics throughout the time.

I asked who that friend was, and Taehyung mostly answered, “It’s Jimin.” 

Now I really like dawn too, along with the moon.

Taehyung’s velvet voice and Namjoon’s soulful words brought me to peace the first time I listened to the song. Strongly based on it, this fanart of Jimin and Taehyung is a piece of fun experimental work. I played with palettes I’ve never had before, the play of contrast left me baffled but also feeling wondrous. The more you try new things, the more you learn what to do and what not to do. I thank for all of you who always appreciate my works, dear ARMYs.
