I think I need and explanation about the relationship between Paul and Stanislaus. I've read the book and Paul was adoring him, even his body and he admitted he loves him.

I had to read that sentence 5x times, because I couldn't believe it.

Everyone was describing their relationship as ‘father and son’, or the ‘two brothers’.

But is there a possibility that Paul was really in love with Stanislaus or at least had a crush on him?
