Mind you, this is my fourth reread of volume 2. I still lose it over the thought of just one thing changing could have massively impacted the trajectory of the plot. I could barely focus on reading because all my brain wanted to focus on was the a-thousand-and-one what if scenarios that could have occurred in Jinlan City. What if SQQ had said this, what if the System had not mentioned how many points the Fake Guanyin Pendant could alleviate, what if SQQ had not done this, what if he had stayed put upon LBH's arrival at his door, what if what if what if what if!

In the end, I've given up for the night. I've stopped after the Jinlan City arc and will read the rest tomorrow. Hopefully then I'll be able to keep my brain more focused on the actual plot. (×﹏×)

Currently doing a full reread of Scum Villain's Self-Saving System, which means I have now read the first volume five times. Despite this, it still holds up—I still laugh at the parts I've found funny before, I still get anxious as LBH is forced into the Endless Abyss, I am still in love with the gorgeous illustrations by Velinxi.

I think I can confidently say that this is one of my favorite novels, which is wild because I don't actually enjoy the transmigration subgenre all that much. I highly prefer just straight-up fantasy worlds. And yet SVSSS has managed to capture my heart and has not let it go. I freaking love it. ٩(๑`^´๑)۶

Now, onto volume 2~!

Don't mind me just crying my eyes out because of Xiao Xingchen, Song Lan, and A-Qing. I knew it was coming but it still hurt so much.

I finally started my full read of MDZS yesterday! Thought it'd be a good series to start the new year with. I read all of volume 1 yesterday, and so it's onto volume 2 today... I'm not sure how I'm going to survive the heartbreak up ahead.

A new pair of earrings I got came with a note that said you should never wear earrings overnight and I laughed, but now I'm curious as to what people do so

for clarification: this is just a question trying to see what people's overall habits are when it comes to wearing earrings, so short removals for showering or swimming don't count. feel free to put in the tags how often you switch between pairs of earrings as well!

Trying to be a good reader and leave comments on all the fics I read these days, defaulting to something like "Thank you for writing this, I loved it!" when I can't find more words to say.

Which, considering my recent fixation is Batjokes and I know so little about anything and everything superhero comics, means that's most of my comments.

Reading 1984 for the first time and I think I'm in way over my head. Took four days to read the foreword. 😨We'll see how this goes.

Joke's on me I'm stuck on episode 7 of season 1 (~treasure hunt~) and keep noping out of finishing it because I can't deal with the secondhand embarrassment. And now half(?) of season 2 is out and I'm being sweetly tortured with all the beautiful gifsets I keep seeing and I want so badly to watch season 2 along with everyone and my love for Stede and Ed is strong but my inability to deal with secondhand embarrassment is stronger. T^T

This just in from yet again again rewatching the trailer for season 2 of Our Flag Means Death!

It's about a week until my birthday, which is less important than the fact that it's also the day season 2 of Our Flag Means Death starts airing (!!!), and I think I've picked the best and the worst time to start finally watching the show. Like, I can binge season 1 if I want! Season 2 is just around the corner! But I'll have to suffer through the wait for the next episodes like all the rest. ;-;
