Cooler weather is finally coming in slowly. We're getting more rain. The peas and acorn squash are happy.

September 1. Goodbye to August. We found a baby squirrel. He fell from the nest and was left. He is doing good and has a healthy appetite.

The fig tree is starting to lose its leaves. I love the color of this one. A suede ochre.

Homemade peach pie. We used fresh peaches from a local farm. When in Georgia, one must make a peach pie from scratch. Nothing like mid August for the sweetest fruit. Eat a peach 🍑

Also changed my blog name. Since I'm no longer doing quilts, I thought this made more sense.
