“eren-” you walked into your boyfriend’s class and see a bunch of girls with chocolates in their hands like you around eren. it was the day, the day when people confess their feelings by giving chocolates. valentines day.

you stayed up until 2 in the morning to make your boyfriend’s favorite chocolate, so seeing a bunch of annoying girls around eren’s table made you irritate. thankfully eren tried to deny them but it was no use, more girls started to gather around eren every minute.

“eren! here take it” a girl with blonde hair snatches eren’s hand and leaves her chocolate on his palm. definitely not making any physical contacts. you gritted your teeth at the scene, you quickly made your way to eren’s table.

“baby!” eren beams, making all the girl’s eyes widened and look who it was. you stood there and handed over the chocolate

“my favorite, you know me the best” eren chuckles as he takes the chocolate away from you. soon you could hear girls whispering

“what’s up” you thump jean’s shoulder as you join the crowd to see what the chattering was all about. across the group, you could notice your boyfriend was there. armin arlert, the prettiest boy you have ever seen in your entire life. in fact, you were very proud to say that he was your boyfriend and you were his girlfriend.

“i don’t even know, just floch making stupid jokes” jean shakes his head while you take a seat beside him.

“really? isn’t armin like what, not the type to have a girlfriend? i mean look at him. he’s short and skinny” floch leaves such offensive comments in front of armin and bunch of people, making people lose their temper including you.

“watch your mouth forster” eren snaps back

“what? am i wrong?” floch’s eyes glister when he sees armin’s crouching his shoulders down. “for real, am i wrong hitch hm?” floch shrugs his shoulder as hitch joins him to insult armin.

those two are well known to have revolting personalities and dirty relationships with hundreds of people. you glimpse at your boyfriend who was about to leave a table but you stand up, having everyone’s eye resting on you.

“floch, you really think i’m going to fall for a person like you? if so, you should be really ashamed. you have no idea how disgusting and cruel you are being right now. so just shut your dirty mouth if you don’t have anything nice to say.” you finally snap back at floch.

“and why do you care so much about him pretty?” floch grits his teeth looking at you walking over to armin, his eyes swelled when he saw your hand around armin’s hand.

“because he is mine? enjoy your shitty ass life with your dear own side piece hitch” you give hitch and floch a look and turn around, leaving the crowd with armin who seemed to be relieved.

“love you so much baby, thank you.” armin kisses your head while he brushes your back with his palm, calming you down from the scene.

“babe come onnn just tell them that you’re mineee please?” jean whine in your embrace before going to the party.

“jean, not the right time, i will tell them soon, alright?” you smile at him. you and jean had been dating for few weeks. jean wanted to have an open relationship but you had a different idea as you preferred a private relationship.

“fine fine fine. soon you said.” jean complains as you spot piek waving at you from the house where the party was happening.

“come on now, piek is waiting for me” you pulled him off away and gave him smooches on his cheek, leaving him with eren and armin.

“hey, which school are you from? i haven’t seen you before” a random guy appears from nowhere next to you trying to hook up.

“uhhh” you gave him a confused look

“come on, just wanna get to know you pretty” the guy smiles at you, as you were about to tell him to fuck off, your back shivered when you saw jean walking towards you and him with his fist hardened.

“sorry i’m taken” you audibly speak up, even though the music was loud, few people around you could hear what you said, including jean and his friends.

“what?” jean mumbles as he continued to reach up to you

“oh come on, i can still take you out, and who is he anyway?” the guy speaks up in disappointment. you raise your finger and point behind the guy’s back, at jean who was standing behind him. the guy slowly turned his figure and saw a larger figure standing behind them.

“you heard that fucker, i’m hers. now shoo and search for another one” jean grins, his arms crossed together as he looks down at the guy in conquest. he looked tough and wild on the outside but inside, he was screaming and cheering like a little baby who got their first christmas present.

“piekkkk” you lazily join the table with piek, mikasa, and annie who were eating their lunch. they greet you with a smile as you took a seat beside annie, sneaking one of her grapes as you look around the canteen hall.

your eyes beam when you saw connie, your boyfriend sitting not far away from you. you tried to join the chat with the girls but you were more interested in what your boyfriend and his group were talking about.

“any girls you got?” “introduce me a good one eren” “yo me too”

classic convos. girls. you were a little nervous that connie would join in but a man loyal like him, connie just stayed quiet enjoying his subway takeaway.

“yo connie, did you even date this semester?” jean laughs, eren joining him.

“i mean jean you didn’t either” eren smacks jean’s back as he burst into laughter.

“dude- i got reasons!” jean adds on, making connie and armin laugh.

“connie would never have a girlfriend” reiner joins in as connie shared a bro fist and a handshake with him.

“oh shut up you” connie laughs. you knew how boys joke about sensitive things but you didn’t know it would be like this. although connie didn’t take the joke personally, you felt different as you were quite irritated at what eren and reiner said.

you decide to walk to the table and lean your chin on connie’s head. making him shriek and look up, he smiles when he saw it was you. other guys were confused as to why a pretty girl like you would be with connie like this.

“[name]?” reiner asks you but you ignore him.

“[name] what are you doing” jean chortles

“i’m his girlfriend. jean step up your levels hun” you coo while patting on connie shoulder and giving him kisses on his cheek.

you get off from the shuttle as you walk to the pub where you had plans with erwin and his friends. erwin, your boyfriend had invited you over to his friend’s gather-up for the first time, so you obviously thought erwin introduced you to his friends as his girlfriend already.

you enter the busy pub and notice your blonde hair boyfriend sitting with his friends. erwin had already talked about his friends so it was straightforward to recognize who each of them was. the short raven-haired man was levi, the person with glasses was hange, the tallest men among the people were miche, the short girl with ginger hair was petra, and the grumpy looking guy was nile.

… and a weird guy looking like levi but not really is levi, olou.

“[name]!” you walk towards the table when you heard your name from erwin. you stood beside erwin, waiting for them to greet you but out of expectations, they were just looking at you as if you didn’t belong here.

“who is this pretty lady erwin?” miche asks as he takes a sip from his wine. “miche-” erwin tried to talk to him but you lightly held back the back of his shirt, initiating him to look at you.

“you didn’t tell them?” you whisper into his ears “baby i was going to but…” erwin mumbles his last words, making you let out a long sigh.

“who are you?” nile demands as he raises his eyebrows at you.

“um, erwin is my boyfriend” you take a seat next to erwin, glancing across the table with astonished faces. you noticed levi’s lips were parted and petra was putting her hands over her mouth.

“erwin?! you didn’t tell us!” hange squeals with excitement on their face. “it’s erwin. what do you expect, he doesn’t have the guts to tell these things” levi groans as he trails his eyes at you.

“sorry baby, i- i was going to but” erwin tries to explain but you took his hand under the table and raised it to show the table. “it’s okay, they know now” you smile at him, erwin awes in endear.

“awwwww you guys are super cute!” petra claps her small hands with excitement. “i mean… i guess” olou next to her talks while copying levi’s gesture, letting petra smiling at him with a murderous face.

“wish the best for you two” nile hoists his glass of wine in the air, the other joins in including you and erwin. “thank you guys” erwin smiles while holding your hand under the table.

erwin smiled in relief, was it because he finally told his friends that he has a girlfriend? or because you were the one who told them, erwin loved how you were outgoing in everything, not backing and giving up. so this kind of energy made erwin fall in love with you once again.

the phone call between you and your boyfriend ends with a girl’s voice behind the call. you groan in frustration, knowing damn well know that levi is once again surrounded by those fangirls.

you park your car in front of the main gate in the college and reached out to greet levi. you tiptoe to see if levi was near around. not far away, you see he was walking towards your car, with his black suit with glasses.

“professor ackerman!” a bunch of girls calls out his name, making your face flinch in excruciate. girls started to gather around levi, trapping him between the circle.

you led your way to the crowd, lightly resting your hand on the girl’s shoulder and moved it gradually, making your way to your boyfriend. “excuse me girls”

you stood next to levi, taking a complete glimpse at the girls. gosh they are so young, you thought. “who are you? can you move?” the girl asks in an ungracious way, almost making you lose your patience.

“i’m sorry, where did you learn that attitude?” you snap back, trying to stay calm as you feel levi’s grip on your back.

“why do you care?” the girl beams back. finally snapping the fuck out of you

“because i’m his girlfriend?” you grab levi’s hand from your back and wave your free hand to the girls to shoo them away. you walked to the car through the empty way with levi in your hand and his hand on your waist.

“sorry girls, i’m taken” levi grins and walks to your car, leaving the girls in shock, shattering their dream come true within seconds.

"you know you didn't had to go that harsh babe?" levi chuckles as he opened the door for you. "whatever levi, you're mine" you roll your eyes as you glance at the girls for the last time, making levi laugh in adorbs.

"...wanna just go home straight? craving for something different today" levi husky voice rattled your ear, making your back sheiver and look into his eyes. "...sure honey"

when he first started developing feelings for you, he's this stuttering mess that couldn't function properly if you're in the same room as him. that spanned for about the entirety of high school. however, because you're classmates since high school, you're bound to have some interactions. the small crush he harbors for you since freshman year of high school grows over time and it morphs into this ball of confidence, which leads to him confessing to you while you out of the blue during university. he feels too much for you, even if it's unrequited at first that every minuscule thing you do from across the room, opens up this jar of butterflies in his ribcage. he feels every beat of their wings when you smile at him every time you meet each other's gazes. jean will give you random snacks throughout the day, bringing you a cup of boba from the university's teahouse or a packed lunch if he's feeling like it. don't worry, he'll text you beforehand that he made you lunch.

you don't know where to place your relationship with jean. it's so obvious that the line of friendship becomes so blurred that people assume it's erased when it comes to the two of you. so, when you study in the library together, you got your answer in the form of a determined yet shy, "i'm courting you, sunshine." you swear you saw every single flower the moment those words came out of his mouth. the small grin on his lips signify that he saw you hide your smile behind your laptop screen.

jean is a family person. even if he shies away from his mom's affections during your visits in his home, he prioritizes family more than anything. that goes to your family as well. the day you introduce jean to your family is something worth keeping in a chest of tiny memory wisps because it's hilarious and concerning at the same time (for you, that is). knowing your dad, he will slowly shed that tough exterior; but in your mom's case, she's smitten by him. jean is a born gentleman --- always drinking his respect women juice every single day of his waking life (which is the bare minimum but we take it) and is always polite to strangers. not to mention, he looks like a model who came from a photoshoot (with that undercut hiding behind his mullet, sharp jawline, perfect face structure, and tall physique --- whew, i can go all day thinking about how perfect jean is because god damn it) so your mom is so ecstatic to get to know him better.

if you have a sibling, holy shit, jean will spoil them as if they're his own little brother or sister. every time he visits your home, jean brings home some snacks to give to your sibling, which is just about the only criteria they have to approve him as your potential boyfriend. when the two of you are sleeping over during a uni break, you often find him conversing with them in the living room about the newest games and thanks to him playing with eren, connie, and armin until the clock strikes 2 am; he can relate to what your little sibling is playing at the moment. he'll give them tips to make the gameplay much easier.

and when you meet gazes as your sibling continue to ramble about critical hits, you know jean is the one who will love you with immortality. as you let yourself bask in those affection-laced amber eyes, you mouth a single word that will change your relationship for the better. jean's smile is blinding and you only laugh as he turns to your sibling, face painted in glee with the words, "you're now looking at your sibling's boyfriend, squirt!"
