#𝟓𝟎: "𝑾𝑬 𝑩𝑬𝑳𝑶𝑵𝑮 𝑻𝑶𝑮𝑬𝑻𝑯𝑬𝑹" - 𝒎𝒂𝒓𝒊𝒂𝒉 𝒄𝒂𝒓𝒆𝒚 / 𝚂𝙿𝙾𝚃𝙸𝙵𝚈 𝚆𝚁𝙰𝙿𝙿𝙴𝙳 !

          when  diana  had  fled  liberty  city  and  relocated  in  los  santos,  there  were  a  few  things  she  never  thought  she’d  be  reminded  of—niko  was  one  of  those  things.  she  hadn’t  known  him  all  that  well,  but  they’d  ran  in  similar  circles  and  knew  of  each  other.  even  so,  she’d  be  lying  if  she  said  ( despite  the  paranoia  of  being  tracked  down  by  the  wrong  people )  that  there  was  something  about  seeing  a  familiar  face  that  was  oddly  comforting.

          chief,  her  german  shepherd,  seemed  to  remember  him,  too,  with  the  dog  being  the  reason  she’d  ran  into  him  in  the  first  place.  if  it  hadn’t  been  for  the  dog  pulling  her  to  niko,  diana,  likely,  wouldn’t  have  recognized  or  noticed  him.  but  once  chief  got  someone’s  scent,  he  never  forgot  about  them,  and  so  here  they  were.

          “ never  thought  i’d  see  ya  again, ”  diana  said,  thick  liberty  city  accent  shining  in  stark  contrast  to  the  los  santos  ones  around  them.  “ it’s  still  so  hard  to  believe…  whaddya  doin’  out  here ? ”

#𝟏𝟒: "𝑫𝑨𝑰𝑺𝒀" - 𝒂𝒔𝒉𝒏𝒊𝒌𝒌𝒐 / 𝚂𝙿𝙾𝚃𝙸𝙵𝚈 𝚆𝚁𝙰𝙿𝙿𝙴𝙳 !

          a  lavish  lifestyle  is  something  that  is  hard  for  beauty  to  let  go  of.  she  used  to  be  a  PRINCESS;  she  used  to  not  have  to  scrape  to  get  by.  she  knew  that  beast  did  what  he  could  to  support  and  take  care  of  her,  but  it  clearly  wasn’t  enough—hence  the  secrecy  and  going  behind  his  back.  she  didn’t  like  it,  but  beast  could  be…smothering.

          she  had  to  get  out  of  their  apartment  for  a  while,  lest  she  rip  her  hair  out.  she  didn’t  have  the  money  to  spend,  of  course,  but  that  didn’t  mean  that  she  couldn’t  do  some  window  shopping.  and  that’s  when  she  saw  a  beautiful  pair  of  glass  slippers.  it  wasn’t  exactly  her  fairytale  that  included  those,  but  she  could  still  admire  them  ( and  lament  over  the  fact  that  she  couldn’t  afford  them ).

          “ i’m  no  cinderella, ”  she  murmured  to  herself,  “ but  i  like  the  shoes… ”

And apparently, I’m attracted to idiots.

#𝟓: "𝑳𝑰𝑭𝑬 𝑶𝑭 𝑻𝑯𝑬 𝑷𝑨𝑹𝑻𝒀" - 𝒄𝒉𝒆𝒍𝒔𝒆𝒂 𝒋𝒂𝒅𝒆 / 𝚂𝙿𝙾𝚃𝙸𝙵𝚈 𝚆𝚁𝙰𝙿𝙿𝙴𝙳 !

          growing  up,  abigail  didn’t  have  much  hope  that  her  life  would  be  all  that  great,  or  that  she’d  ever  have  a  purpose.  being  an  orphan  hadn’t  left  her  with  very  many  options,  and  while  she’d  done  what  she  could,  she  never  would’ve  dreamt  that  she  would  have  a  plot  of  land,  a  roof  over  her  head,  and  a  family  to  call  her  own.  she  never  thought  that  she’d  be  so  lucky.

          she  had  never  been  set  up  for  success,  and  she  supposed  that’s  what  infuriated  her  about  her  son’s  outlook  on  life.  admittedly,  she  would  always  feel  a  sense  of  GUILT  for  how  he’d  grown  up  and  the  horrors  that  he’d  seen  in  his  short  life,  but  she  TRIED.  abigail  tried  to  be  a  good  mother,  to  instill  good  morals  and  behaviors  and  outlooks  on  life  in  her  son,  and  she  knew  that  he  was  a  broody  teenager,  but  she  was  determined  for  him  to  have  a  FAR  better  life  than  she  ever  did.

          “ now  you  listen  to  me  jack, ”  she  told  him,  voice  taking  on  it’s  typical,  motherly  sternness.  “ maybe  i  don’t  know  better,  but  i  do  know  best,  and  i  won’t  hear  none  of  this  doom  and  gloom  nonsense !  you’re  gonna  make  somethin’  of  yourself,  ya  hear  me ? ”
