Thanks for the suggestion and sorry for the late reply! I’ve actually checked Amazon and they do have some pretty good deals, but they’re mostly memory foam mattresses (and some hybrids), which I’m not really familiar with as I’ve only slept on spring mattresses and some pretty bad non-memory foam ones in the past. I’m not sure if they would hold up well throughout a constantly hot summer/climate, but maybe a topper would help with that? I’d like a mattress that can hold up well when multiple people are sitting on it and not get deformed/worn out easily, if possible.
Another thing I have to take into account is whether they ship to Puerto Rico or not (most mattress listings and sites I’ve looked on usually don’t). I was lucky the bed frame I bought would even ship out over here since the majority of listings would say they couldn’t/wouldn’t and even then, it was only because they forced you to use a physical/home address (only to find out that USPS over here doesn’t even do house deliveries, so I had to go to the post office and pick it up myself =w=“).
Finally got a new bed! Saving up for a new mattress.

I had mentioned the following in passing (and in older posts throughout the past), but that old bed frame really needed to go and thanks to the support bars that the frame itself has I was able to get rid of the broken box spring mattress as well. I didn’t take pics of me tearing the whole thing down, so you’ll just have to picture m or one of my OCs doing that in your head, haha. It’s been two weeks since I’ve slept on it and it hasn’t given me any problems whatsoever (though I’m still not used to it having more legs than the old one, so I keep stubbing my toes and bumping into them).
As far as beds go, all that’s left now is to save up for a new mattress. I’ve seen a couple of good ones on sale in some flyers the past couple of weeks, but unfortunately, their sale periods have ended. I’m not entirely sure how much I’d need for one at regular price (plus I have to take into account multiple factors, such as whether the store’s far/close to home, who’ll help me bring it over, etc.), but I’d be able to buy one regardless of the situation if I had $700. If they happen to be on sale again once I’ve got that much money, I could put it toward new bed sheets, pillows, and toppers as well.

Here’s a bonus bw sketch of the adoptable set @devon7601 had bought, which I had posted two weeks ago. Since Humo’s a demon he can change his body into all sorts of things and because his body by default is in a smoke/gaseous state he can easily enter and possess people’s bodies. Of course, he’s able to alter the person’s body without fully possessing them so they’re able to feel the growth going on and get off on the experience.
I bet this isn’t the first time Hugo has let himself get swollen to such a size~

Here’s one of the drawings I had done last year and posted on Patreon last month (which was more or less when my net speed got decent enough to be able to upload things again). I couldn't participate in last year's Orctober for obvious reasons, but I still wanted to have an orc piece done for myself. I thought an orc with a musclegut would be a perfect start for the coloring style I was trying to achieve back then.
The past year has been a very rough one, those who followed me for a while will probably have noticed. Rambling messages and the lack of art in all forms.. yet so many of you stayed, I’ve gotten so many kind words and besides that, new people have joined. I truly cannot thank you guys enough, I’m extremely humbled by all the support you guys have shown me not only for my art, but for me as a person as well. Truly, from the bottom of my heart, thank you.

Internet’s back and regarding the current backlog
For those who don’t follow me on Patreon, I’d like to let you know that the power has also been restored in my home/neighborhood. There was a post at the time that went along with that announcement, but seeing as I was posting things from a terrible data connection, I was unable to log on/repost it easily everywhere.

Hey guys, I wanted to let you all know that I finally have an internet connection back at home. To be exact, the whole thing came back on the evening of the 23rd and it’s remained, for the most part. They’re still giving it maintenance around the neighborhood and any other areas where the internet line runs through, so most of the time the bandwidth speed isn’t that good and/or the whole thing crashes for a couple of hours. The same goes for the power itself… I planned to post this message last night, only for the whole thing to go out in a widespread area until today. It returned around 1:45 PM. I’ll still be writing stuff into the event log whenever I can, so you can keep tabs on what’s up over here if you’d like.
Now then, I’m sure you’re all wondering how I’m going to handle the backlog of Patreon content that’s built up due to the terrible circumstances that led to it. Well, that’s quite simple really. I’ll be handling the single-image polls first (ie. The body type and fanart ones) and once those are out of the way, I’ll get started on the growth ones. These drawings, just like any other monthly image I’ve posted in the past, will remain up here (early access/hi-res downloads, as usual) for a month since their completion. In regards to the fanart polls, I’ll be handling them a bit differently. Since these are some of the polls that usually take the longest to receive an answer/suggestion, I’ll be making a single poll consisting of all the already submitted answers from last year that I happen to fancy. You’ll be able to vote for more than one character as well (the same applies to the body type poll). For every month that the fanart poll was reached in my absence, there will be a fanart drawing that coincides with the votes from the poll, going from the most voted to the least.
These polls will be up later tonight (assuming the power doesn't go out again), so be sure to take a look again in a couple of minutes. I will also try to work on the pending tier rewards and commissions as fast as I can; I'm not pleased with what little progress I was able to make in regards to those last year and even less at the time of this writing (due to the whole hurricane mess delaying things even further). I'm still thankful that many of my current audience have been rather patient with me, but I do know that patience doesn't last forever. I'll try to keep you all updated on those when I have some proper progress to show.
Here's hoping I can get over this bumpy start of the year.
An update
Hey guys, sorry for making you all worry!
I'm still fine, somewhat. It's been a bit hard keeping myself calm around my family, given the whole situation with the hurricane and whatnot. As I mentioned last time, we're safe, but we still don't have any power or internet at home. I have not been able to work on many, if any, of the planned Patreon content due to currently having to share my room with my brother (this also goes for NSFW commissions). Long story short, our "stepdad" has a power generator and the cables we have only reach up to my bedroom, instead of his which is a bit further along the hallway. The generator is only turned on during the night, so I can't really work on much during the day (my battery is probably nearing its last legs; as of late barely lasts 2hrs with all the power/battery saver options turned on).
For those who aren't in my Discord server, I'm finally able to post this log I've been keeping ever since this whole mess started. It's not short by any means, but I do hope it at least gives you all some insight on how my situation has been and how I've been trying to put up with it, among other things. I'm currently using the data connection from one of those free government cellphones (after my brother stopped keeping it a secret from me) and I'm not sure how long it will last. I'll try to upload some of the wip screenshots I had shared with a few of my patrons via Telegram/Discord the last time I was able to hand out these files to some friends for them to post them in my stead at the time (these are Patron-only btw).

Thanks for worrying about me. Hurricane Irma left PR and it didn’t really affect my area that much (I live around the southwest side). It was mostly rains that would come and go, plus the lights flickering all day. Tonight however, the power did go out a few times.There’s still power and water in my neighborhood (I read that there’s a lot of places with just one or neither at all at the moment), so I’m thankful for that and hope that things around the island in general improve.
Life Update
As mentioned in my latest content post on Patreon, I'm taking the time to let you know how things are going for me over here. I posted this over there last night, though it was rather late, so I’m putting it up on my other sites today.
The Laundry
My stepdad got over his childish tantrum (in regards to the washing machine drama I had mentioned months ago) and had been letting us use it ever since, but it was broken and would spill out water no matter what level/amount you set it to. It wasn't til two weeks ago or so that he bothered to look into it and try to fix it himself (as he usually does; you either get a decent/terrible-looking fix or the item in question gets completely trashed by him), but no matter how much he claimed "It's fixed now." the problem would persist.
Last week, on the 24th, he had me (and at one point my bro as well) go back and forth taking the drum from an old washing machine we had to the balcony and vice versa so he could try it out; it was a big waste of time since neither of em would work even after he messed around with them. During the weekend he went out with mom to look at some old washing machines someone he knew had that weren't being used; he brought back home two of them. He made us help him carry them upstairs (we live on the 2nd floor; I got stuck with the bad end, since I had to try and lift it up the stairs while they carried the other end; my arms and shoulders were already sore from the drum thing) so he could test them out the next day (he should have just done that before even bringing them over here...). I got a few scrapes/cuts and covered in rust because of them.
Yesterday, he tested them out and told us to carry one back downstairs (again, stuck with the bad end; bro was whining a lot, mostly cuz of his paranoid "I DON'T want to hit my head" thing he's got going on which is really over the top in any situation and annoying as well) because, lo and behold, both washing machines don't work at all. They were missing a piece necessary for them to even work at all. The first one wouldn't start or fill up with water, despite the notification light being lit up (and he ended up breaking the lid lock cuz it was jammed); not really sure what the problem was with the second machine, but I'm just gonna assume that one didn't even turn on at all. On that same day, he went back to the same place he got both washing machines and brought over another drum (which was oily and gave me cuts/scrapes yet again).
Today, he made some kind of Frankenstein's monster (or Frankenstein's washer in this case) with that drum and pieces from some of the old washing machines, so we're finally able to do all that laundry that's been piling up for days. Thankfully my mom's been doing the rest of the laundry, because I'm seriously exhausted and have barely been given a break or respect for my personal space/time lately (though I know that after today I'll most likely be the one in charge of doing it all, as it's always been).
Chores and Personal Space
My family still keeps bugging me with their ridiculous requests and keep asking me to do stuff for them instead of going to my bro most of the time because "He's always busy.", "He won't do it.", "He's asleep.", even though when I'm clearly busy working on a drawing, chilling out doing my things, or asleep I'm still bothered or forced to do what they want because they "just can't do it themselves".
Last month I ordered a few things my stepdad wanted online and he kept hounding me constantly for updates on its progress (like he did last time when I bought him that new tablet), as if that would make it arrive earlier than the estimate date or saying "I hope that comes in earlier, because I really need it." every once in a while... The items (a Fire Stick TV and an HDMI to AV converter box) still came around the estimate date and I spent a whole day setting it up for him because I had to:
Make him an Amazon account (there's no way I'd leave mine logged into that thing) to download the apps needed for what he wanted to do (ie. stream his tablets contents, videos from websites, and Youtube to his tv). He doesn't have a credit/debit card, so I had to look up whether you could actually bypass that and make sure it worked.
Troubleshooting one of the file streaming apps since it didn't want to work right out of the box (neither the tablet or stick would discover each other while using the same app on both devices, so I tried a bunch of solutions and looked up guides, but none of that worked. Ended up having to get an ftp app on his tablet so the files would be shared that way instead.)
Forced to put up with his heterosexual porn (at least it wasn't his worse content...) because he wanted to try out the streaming/file sharing functions himself, even though I already tried and showed em to him with non-pornographic content.
Constantly bothered or rushed (despite telling me to take my time and that he wasn't rushing me) to get the whole thing up and working properly, every now and then being annoying by saying "Geez, this sure is complicated." among other dumb things.
Told me to write him instructions on how to use everything and after doing so tells me to show him and let him try to do it himself because it's better that way and he can't read my writing (despite me writing it out pretty big so he could see). I was losing my patience having to put up with this and if that wasn't ridiculous enough, I even had to tell him how to use the remote itself (even children could do this by themselves).
I've found myself sleeping rather late again because of being stuck with these chores (cooking, doing the laundry, washing dishes, etc.) and being bothered by my family while trying to fit in my personal time into all of this. Hell, I've even been bothered past midnight or when I'm about to try and get some sleep just because my stepdad wants me to "fix" something or remind him how tech even works because "Man, this is really complicated.", I'm not even kidding. This also applies to when my mom bothers my bro for a favor and he "miraculously" accepts to do it (ie. letting her read the horoscope, looking up a news article, etc.) because he just ends up barging into my room and sits there on the floor until she's done with her thing. This also happens when he just feels like talking to me for no reason whatsoever. He dropped by my room a few nights ago to ask for some anime recommendations and instead of this conversation of his taking a couple of minutes it ended up lasting around an hour or more as he constantly coughed everywhere (if I end up getting sick soon, we can all blame him). I had to stop working on my drawings at the time because I don't feel comfortable drawing around him or the rest of my family (I've probably said this a lot whenever I talk about them and my situation, but they're homophobic; they also make fun of fat people so I suppose that's something else they have in common).
A friend of mine kept bringing up how he has a schedule for things he wants to do within a day whenever he dropped by the past few months, but that just simply doesn't work in this house. With the aforementioned already established, it'd probably be more stressful to try and keep a schedule when I already know it'd be impossible to keep in place (I tried doing this at one point during college and trust me, it fell apart pretty fast.
Work
Commissions and patreon are still my only source of income. I haven't even reopened the former since I've still got a backlog that I've been unable to finish as quickly as I would have liked to due to how hectic my life's been (ie. physically and mentally exhausted most of the time, among other things). I'm still slowly working on them whenever I can and I hope to have updates on those soon.
Of course, there will also be wip updates in regards to this month's patreon content when I get around to fleshing out those sketches. Thank you all for being patient with me.

Good News and Bad News
Hey guys, here's an update about all that's been happening lately.
Do note that this is a rather lengthy post.
I had finally saved enough for the laptop and my friend sent it over last week. Funnily enough, it arrived a day later than the estimate (thanks to how slow the postal service can be over here) and that day ended up being my birthday, which was yesterday. I ended up going for another model that was cheaper than the one I previously mentioned, since the specs and size turned out to be better suited for me (and my friend was the one who suggested it as well). It's been running pretty well so far, save for an issue with the taskbar, but that'll probably be fixed in an update.
I thought I was feeling much better these past few days, in regards to my health and emotions, but that was pretty short-lived. My family's back to badgering me about not having a job, despite being unable to get one and really trying to focus on delivering what I owe in commissions and Patreon art. Not only that, but my stepdad (who most people I know can agree that he's an utter idiot) refuses to take the time to learn how to use his own devices and constantly hounds me for help every single day, despite having explained how to use them for well over a year... (as if my mom disturbing me at random times of the day and every single night for the same thing when she could simply use her cellphone for it wasn't enough)
Ever since my stepdad started using a tablet about a year and a half ago, everyone in this house knows that he looks up unsavory content (and I'll leave it at that, cuz honestly, not everyone needs to know what it is...), watching it via stream, recording it with a camcorder (filming the device externally might I add) and constantly replaying it in his personal corner of the living room at a volume that anyone passing by there or the kitchen can hear it. Unfortunately, I'm not one of those people who can block out or ignore sounds and my room happens to be next to the living room, so if the whole house is rather quiet, it's still possible to hear it due to the walls being so thin. Every time that he asks for help it always involves said content, which he's already learned how to browse online and download videos, so I'm not sure how he can't even remember how to do the most basic of things, such as browsing your saved files, folders, and deleting stuff (he also plays the "Because I can't see well." card, despite his tablet screen being big enough for the average person to read properly).
When he asks for help, he usually ends up playing said content in front of me like it's nothing and I really DON'T need nor want to see that kind of stuff. Yesterday, during the afternoon, I was trying to clear some more space in my bedroom and I decided to give him back one of the consoles he lent me to test when he bought it last month (a used xbox 360; both the console and controller itself were in bad shape, but still worked) and apparently he forgot that he bought it in that condition and started throwing a fit about it. I also gave him back his PS2 today (which was the only other console I was testing with my own cables and controller, since his was too busted up to actually play anything with it) and with that cocky attitude of his, he told me the following:
Him: "Let's make a deal. You record my porn on dvds on your laptop and I'll give you the.... the, what's it called?" Me: "A PS2." Him: "Yeah, that. You do that for me and I'll give it to you as a present, BUT, you can no longer complain to me."
No one in their right mind would take a deal like that and I clearly declined several times, as he tried to make the offer sound enticing and failed. Afterward, he just threw a childish fit behind my back and got my mom to ask me the same thing. I told her the same answer I gave him, only to have her barge in later and tell me the follow:
Her: "You'd better record that for him if you wanna use the laundry machine cuz I don't have money to buy a new one!"
I assume the laundry machine probably broke down again ealier and when she asked him to fix it he most likely threw the same fit and/or threatened her that he'd only fix it again if I agree to his ridiculous demands. With all the daily stress I've had to put up with at this rate, I'll probably end up getting sick again. The same friend who helped me get the new laptop has agreed to let me stay over at his parents house while we save up for an apartment in the future, but I need to wait for him to clean up the room I'll be using and check ticket prices for flights. So for now, all earnings will go toward helping me get that ticket (assuming what I had saved up from last year for this kind of thing isn't enough) and also to help me ship some things over. Here's hoping these plans don't fall through, like what happened with the ones I made with someone else last year.
