When DDS First Came Out, I Perused Japanese Fan Sites And Came Across A Serph Cosplayer Who Was Wearing

When DDS first came out, I perused Japanese fan sites and came across a Serph cosplayer who was wearing a spring bonnet and carrying a basket that contained the thorn in the Embryon’s side that is the Brutish…but in an adorable, super-deformed plush size! Having absolutely no sewing skills/knowledge, I decided I must have my own.

And so Mini Ravana was born. He was made from an old hockey jersey, stuffing, an orange prismacolor marker, and sharpies. After that, well…I could ramble on about it, but Mini Ravana became Drunk Ravana, and Drunk Ravana spawned Ravana Kittens. There were about twelve Ravana Kittens in existence, made from the same materials except the jersey material was replaced with broadcloth. Mine have been loved to near death, but a few may still be out there, as I mailed some off to other people I knew back then.

Thought I’d take a stroll down memory lane and post my dumb photos. I miss having them, despite their shoddy quality. I want to make another sometime. I apologize for the poor quality pics, but I wasn’t a very good photographer at the time (and I’m still not).
