My elder arospec experience is coming out before people outside of tumblr knew what aromantic meant and being bullied even worse than the gay kids at my school for it. Even the adults joined in on the bullying, telling me I just haven’t met the right person yet and that I’m too young to know that I don’t want romance. Being aro/ace in the 2000s is something I don’t wish on anyone
