Why not mix him with one of these.

That my dears is a trigona crassipes aka vulture/carrion bee and they have an interesting little quirk where instead of using pollen they use the the meat from road kill to make there hives and honey.

Just imagine bumblebee actively HUNTING, using the corpses for his nest and just because I'm sadistic let's add that "techno" part to this shall we? To him rotting corpses are no different to say... scrapped machines.
