“No, Albus! Sshhttt! Don’t call Dad!”

“Daaadd!!”

“I’m sorry, okay? I didn’t mean for it to happen! Now shush before we’ll get into trouble.”

“Dad! Scorpius has torn one of my books again!”

Harry sighed deeply, pinching the bridge of his nose.

The fingers in his hair tightened lightly, tugging at the strands. “You should go see what’s wrong, love.”

“Hmmm…” Harry groaned, swinging an arm over his eyes. He didn’t want to. He was too comfortable.

Draco chuckled above him, moving his legs so Harry’s head fell from his lap. “Come on. Up you get. You know they’ll just keep nagging until you solve their little issue.”

“They’re your children too, you know”, Harry said, stretching his sore muscles. He didn’t remember their sofa being this hard before...

“Oh yeah, I know.” Draco smirked, his grey eyes sparkling as they roamed Harry’s body up and down. “But you’re the ‘nice dad’, as they like to tell their friends. Plus, they know they’ll be in even more trouble when they call for me.”

Harry snorted loudly, rolling his eyes. “Things were easier when they were still cute, little infants, don’t you think?”

“Uhu”, Draco said, one pale eyebrow rising, “Their screeching for food in the middle of the night was so much better than their constant fighting now…”

“Oh, ha ha. At least they were still cute and innocent.”

“Mhm, but I rather prefer having a full night’s sleep. It’s better for my skin.”

“Dad!!”

“Yeah, yeah! I’m coming!” Harry yelled up the stairs, before glaring at his husband and pointing a finger in his direction. “You’ll make this up to me.”

A sly smile tugged at Draco’s lips. “Oh, I promise you, I will, darling.”
