What is really strange, when writing is reading your own material back a while later. I'll read a sentence, and thing 'How on earth did I come up with that? I never use words like that. How did that pop into my brain? What does that word even mean?'
An hour later, I start writing, and I'm using exactly the same style. What is even stranger is I cannot replicate my own writing style in anything outside of fiction. It is as if I go into a completely different space.

So true. 🤣🤣🤣
We’re fanfiction writers, of course:
We’re going to use song lyrics as titles.
We’re going to check for comments 30 seconds after we post something.
We’re going to have more WIPs than days of the week.
We’re going to use any excuse to post snippets.
We’re going to use ask box games to procrastinate.
We’re going to hype up our writer friends.
We’re going to scream, cry and throw up reading our friends’ work.
Tell to sell, because he never once checked out her good heart. Although he does like wolf bits (which rhymes with something).

I like the wolf bit

Killing a Mockingbird - Missed Communications (on Wattpad) https://www.wattpad.com/1423577454-killing-a-mockingbird-missed-communications?utm_source=web&utm_medium=tumblr&utm_content=share_reading&wp_uname=mandzipop Alayne Stone marries Harry the heir, becomes Sansa Stark and re-takes Winterfell. Inside, she finds horrors beyond belief, and a letter informing her of the death of her older half-brother. She tries to re-build Winterfell, but is stricken by grief, all the while Littlefinger lurks. Not long after she re-takes Winterfell, Jon arrives, back from the dead. But he is not the boy she remembers, who left for the wall, full of idealistic dreams. Instead, he returns dark and angry. Only Sansa can calm him down. Sansa starts to trust him more than anyone else she's ever known. However, Littlefinger is spewing vile hints about Jon into her ear. Sansa turns to Jon for protection, but her feelings for him are not what they should be.

If they were to remake GoT today, Harry Gilby would my number 1 choice for Jon. He's even got a proper northern accent.

She was not sure who as yet, but she knew she would find someone.
