UNANSWERED HNY QUESTIONS:
With only a few episodes left ( hoooray!!), will these questions get answered?
1. In Toga's graveyard, Inuyasha and Kagome appeared very healthy; however, there didn't seem to be any vegetation around. How did they find food?
2. While Moroha lived with Koga and his clan, who schooled her about her spiritual powers? Who taught her about them? Where did she acquire her bow and arrow?
3. Moroha once more..the sword the female wolf tribe member had (can't remember her name), did someone give it to her? If so, who?
4. Has Moroha ever met Sesshomaru before seeing the twins? If not, how was she able to detect his scent on them?
5. Who raised Towa and Setsuna for those 4 years?
6. This may not matter, but I found it odd; when they were 4, Setsuna always called Towa sister...why not just say her name? She did later on.
7. Why did Sesshomaru put Zero's pearls into his children eyes? Does this even matter anymore?
8. Why All the Kagura parallels?
9. Where did all this newfound power come from if they are only hanyo; yet, their father's line does not posses them?
10. WHY ALL THE KAGURA PARALLELS
I'm sure there are more, but this is what I thought of for now; a part of me feels like they'll either do another season or movie just to answer these questions...maybe.
@wwy009sideblog it really does seem like they're making parallels between Kirinmaru and Sesshomaru; I just wonder what his end game is. Is he really going to destroy Kirinmaru, but for what happened to Rion? Will he really destroy all the yokai? If so...why? Is he the one the Shikon was talking about when it said the one who transcend time will kill Kirinmaru?
What happened in today's episode?
A lot of stuff happened. From OG cast fighting filler demons to Osamu Kirin bringing comet in the feudal era.

Rin is Sesshomaru's Heart
Of course she is, but not in the romantic way Sinners like to believe; I'm not one myself, but we can all relate I believe.
When someone becomes a parent, that child becomes their whole world; everything they do is to make sure that child is taken care of, clothed and loved with unconditional affection. This is a concept Sesshomaru didn't understand; when we see his mother she's kind of cold and distant; however, she is always willing to put things aside to make her son happy. Example, when Rin died in the underworld, although she didn't like humans she brought her back because it would make her son happy. That's all that mattered to her; she put her bigotry aside for her son.
Parents divorce, jobs come and go, but the constant in a parent's life is the love for their child; no matter what happens, in the end is this person they created (or adopted) ...their heart.
I saw a video on YT where this older gentlemen around his 90s who could barely walk, was still taking care of his son who was in his 60s and disabled; he was court for something (forgot what, but it was an innocent misdemeanor). Anyway, the judge asked him where he was going and the old gentleman explained that he was getting medicine for his disabled child; remember, the father could hardly walk himself, but he was still taking care of his son. I wish I could remember this video because it had me in tears; the judge dismissed his case and cried himself.
The point people: Sesshomaru has always made sure Rin was safe, that she was taken care of, that she was loved....because she is his heart. She's his child after all. An unconditional bond between parent and child that can't be broken.
It's a beautiful bond I love to see in stories. 1🥰🥰
Alternate Yashahime Story #2
Kirinmaru asked Touga to use his sword to bring Rion back, but he refused; as much as it pained him to see his friend hurting, Touga knew there were limits to the power he wielded.
Several years/centuries later, Kirinmaru was still trying to find a way to bring his daughter back from her prison; then one day, Zero enters his chambers and tells him something strange....Sesshomaru has hanyo children.
Uninterested, he pushes her statement from his mind; this does not interest him, but her next statement halts him.
Zero: There are rumors the Gods chose him
Kirinmaru: What do you mean?
Zero: The mother of those children....was killed some time ago, but was brought back. Apparently, once a vessel was located, both Haku and Kon were given to her.
Kirinmaru stood to his feet.
Kirinmaru: Where is she now?
Zero: I do not know
Kirinmaru: Find out then
**Zero manages to locate Sesshomaru outside a small cottage; he is over looking the horizon appearing to stare at nothing. She inquires about the news he has fathered hanyo children, but he remains silent; once Zero leaves, he enters the hut to find his twin daughters being catered to. His eldest child, Rin, is lying next to them; he takes the children away needing to protect them.
As he flies through, he thinks of their mother; although the Gods chose him and granted his request, he knew it went against their laws. Still, he was able to take the swords and wield them appropriately; however, he did not want the mother to be in danger so he hid their children in the forest instead of taking them directly to her. He would return to the hut and ask Rin to look after them while he dealt with Kirinmaru and Zero.
Synopsis:
Kirinmaru found out Sesshomaru was chosen to use the two swords that could bring life; desperate to bring his daughter back, he asks for his assistance. When Sesshoamru refuses to help, as Kirinmaru was not chosen by the Gods, he lies in order to obtain the weapons he need.
Sesshomaru keeps the mother hidden; afraid of what could happen should Kirinmaru and Zero find her. Instead, Rin volunteers to play the role of mother until the matter is reaolved; but as time passes, Sesshomaru grows weary about being away from his children's mother and keeping them away from her.
**I couldn't remember the names of the swords or that one God (name too long, lol). But, this is just another version of a story...of course, in my version Kagura is the mother**
Someone: Why are you crying?
Me: Because I don't understand
Someone: What don't you understand?
Me: It's not right you know....it's wrong
Someone: What is?
Me: Grooming
Someone: Who was groomed?
Me: Rin
Someone: ....I know and I'm sorry
Me: Why? Why would they show this?
Someone: I don't know
🥺🥺
Can anyone confirm whether this is the thread of fate or a red whip type of weapon?

This is very lovely 😍

𑁍 SessKagu Week 2021 𑁍 | Day Two ☾ Green (Apart)
Alternate YH story idea:
14 years after the birth of her daughters, Kagura begins to feel an old familiar sensation in her chest; she remembered it too well...the feeling of Naraku gripping her heart. Fear grips her as she wonders what it could mean. She keeps the feeling to herself, believing it nothing; until it happens again, but this time...it's her daughter Setsuna who feels this.
Sesshomaru and Kagura knew their children would have a piece of Naraku within their bloodline; the entire Inugang did, but since he was gone, no one thought about it. The first time Setsuna felt the tug, she was practicing with Husui; however, she didn't say anything. When it happened again, it was stronger; this time compelling her to go somewhere. Without telling Towa, Setsuna leaves in the night; some time later, Kagura wakes with a start. Sesshomaru is there with concern in his eyes. Kagura says their daughter's name and he's instantly gone.
Has Naraku returned? What is this sensation that Kagura and Setsuna are feeling and why has Setsuna heeded its call?
SYNOPSIS:
The blood that runs through Setsuna's veins contain remnants of the demon Naraku...her grandfather; when a strong sensation within her calls to her, she instantly obeys; fearing Naraku or some piece of him has returned, Sesshomaru sets out to retrieve his daughter. What he doesn't know is that Setsuna no longer knows who he is; she no longer knows her mother or sister. Setsuna has now become a puppet to whatever has called her; and her orders are to kill Sesshomaru.
Sesshomaru is now forced to fight his daughter, but how can he?
Mostly throughout the week, I am chill; just working, going about my day. Off of work, I watch shows that put a smile on my face; I draw and try to work on my stories. But then Thursday evening hits which goes into Friday and I'm quiet....I feel myself growing sad again. I asked myself one time why am I feeling this way? Then I remember...the following day is Saturday.
Saturday? Isn't that the day to feel relaxed because you're resting from work? True, but there is something that causes my stomach to burn, my mind to drift and the sadness to take over; my heart pounds from anxiety...not the good kind either. What is happening on Saturday that makes me feel this way you ask?
The tags say it all
No matter how many times I claim it's not canon....I still feel upset, sad, and disgusted.
With each episode, I find myself losing faith in the flip; nothing particularly happened in this episode to make me think this way, but then again maybe. No words were said, but just the horrible so called reunion...when Towa was thinking about Sesshomaru and Rin side by side together...while Rin sits by her groomer constantly screaming his name with 'Lord' still like the child she is. The fact she was slightly taller in this episode; there are just too many things.
Yes, the twins have powers attributed to Naraku/Kagura, but it's not enough for me; I need more information to believe this has all been a mix up to protect the real mother (if not R) I need for them to stop portraying this pedo ship as a family if it's not true; I don't want this....this should not exist in a show for young viewers. Why? Why did the creator of IY approve this? Why is she allowing this studio to condone grooming? Why does this exist? More to the point...why do I still watch?
Curiosity killed the cat; this show is killing me, but it won't win. I hate that I want to see what happens, but mainly to the Inuyasha family; I hate that I feel like they're gonna show scenes between this child and her groomer. Is the anime/manga industry all like this? Why does it seem like pedophilia is okay? This show should have been cancelled long ago.
Sorry for the rank, but...I'm just broken and so very sad 😔

So this is really funny!! On a YH review of the last episode on YT, I asked whether anyone was bothered by how young Rin looked; this response is so stupid. Anything to condone their disgusting pedoship. 😒
I just realized that the night before the new episode of YH comes on, I get anxiety; I'm all good before then, but my stomach starts to burn on Friday's.

So I used to write fanfiction and post it on Fanfiction.net; at the time, I would just write the stories and think of the images in my head. I had this story for Kenshin and Tomoe, but wanted a cover to go along with it; this was back in 2013 or 2014 when I started teaching myself how to draw. This cover I made was in 2015 and the story title is Atonement.
I no longer post on that site or make fanfictions; I'm in the process of creating my own stories because I want to be a comic artist/writer. Making fanfictions was a great way for me to start, even if I didn't draw out all the pictures...they were just novels.
I still have the stories on a flash drive; I sometimes go back and read them for fun. 🙂

Can we all appreciate the awesomeness of this show; the music, characters and storyline. Just wanted to show another one of my all time favorite shows 😍
Just wanted to share this again.

Rumiko Takahashi: "For me, Sesshomaru is a father / parental figure (to Rin)" (March, 2021)
And that's canon. Finally, the author of Inuyasha herself has confirmed her interpretation of Sesshomaru and Rin's relationship as one of father figure/daughter. She could have said that she thought of them as a future couple, but she didn't. She could have said they were just "companions" or "friends" like some people want to interpret their relationship, but she didn't, because she doesn't see them that way. The word she used (Hogosha) is used in contexts related to parents and parental relationships. She had that in mind as she portrayed Sesshomaru and Rin's interactions, and that implies that:
Sesshomaru and Rin's interactions were never intended to be romantic.
The kimonos Sesshomaru gave Rin were NOT courtship gifts. They were gifts from a father to his daughter.
Sesshomaru never cared for Rin because he was in love with her, but because he loved her as his own daughter.
Jaken's taking care of Rin doesn't exclude Sesshomaru from being a father figure.
Sesshoumaru helped raise Rin and he never intended to marry her.
OG Sesshomaru is not a pedophile. He is a protector of children.
So yeah, it's official: they are father and daughter. The rest is a bad fanfic.
The more I think about Sesshomaru's character, the more I feel him being married and having biological children doesn't fit. This may have been a notation from somewhere before, but as you see him in the manga and anime could you see him suddenly wanting to be married? Does that seem like something he cared about?
Although I'm team Sesshomaru and Kagura, I could still see them together but not romantically; he obviously cares for her, but falling in love? The concept would be too foreign to him; he spent a good chunk of his life living for himself until Rin came along which first made him see things differently. Then Kagura died and his feelings went extreme.
Still, it doesn't mean he suddenly understands what love his; he sees that his emotions are changing but why? He finds himself defending Kagura's name and wanting to save Rin a second time, but why?
I feel like after Naraku was defeated, Sesshomaru would have gone on a journey of discovery; this sounds like something I wrote before, lol. I think Sesshomaru wouldn't find a need to be married and have offspring; especially not so soon after having these new emotions. If (big if), he decided to act on them I see him taking years to come to grips with it.
Him adopting the twins would have made more sense; his finding a way for them to have his scent for protection would make more sense. Him being married and having biological children does not; not so soon at least.
That's my opinion.
I was curious about this notation in the series;

Sesshomaru having a blood blade was something never shown in the OG; as I'm still reading the manga, I'm not sure if he ever used this. Then I thought of Inuyasha and his Blades of Blood; it got me thinking that maybe Toga had this ability so it passed down to Sesshomaru as well. I went into the wiki sight for Toga and found these:

I hope you can see them because I was a bit surprised; there we have Toga being able to perform Naraku like abilities. The problem I have is whether or not this information was there before Trashahime. If not, it proves they are either adding things or retconning Toga's abilities to explain the wonder bread twins. I don't know how I feel about this.
Since the Thread of Fate seems to be the theme of YH (imo); I believe in this moment, the thread between Sesshomaru and Kagura was created. He felt sorrow for not being able to save her and he took that with him through his travels; in my headcannon, Kirinmaru was able to see amd/or wield it like his sister Zero. He makes a proposition to Sesshomaru about being able to find Kagura at the other end.
Apprehensive at first, Sesshomaru agrees to the deal not knowing what Kirinmaru had in mind.

Y’ALL. . . Totosai asks Sesshomaru to think about what changed in his beggared soul and he immediately thinks of Kagura. I’m w e e p i n g.
And if that's not enough of an emotional sock to the gut. . .
. . .

The wind flows up around him like Kagura's spirit is trying to comfort him or something, don't touch me—
Reading the manga and came upon these scenes:

The first one is obviously Naraku holding Kagura's heart and threatening her with it; the 2nd and 3rd are when he created Juromaru and Kageromaru. I just thought it was interesting Naraku used 2 humans to create his other incarnation; could he have done the same for Kagura? Could she have been created from a human body?
Just a thought.
I'm a bit confused by Rin being able to seal Setsuna's memories; for one thing, when did she have time and reason enough to do that? She passed out after being cursed; did she wake up? Are they saying she was always aware of what was happening around her even though she was asleep? Did she decide to seal her memories when Jaken mentioned he would protect Setsuna after the fire? Contradictions all over the place. Also, why did she feel it was important to seal those memories? What use was it? The purpose of the butterfly, just like Zero's wish and her purpose, all changed since S1. 🙄
Rin took Setsuna’s memories because they are painful memories 💀 what a stupid reason . She’s a trash mother . The twins were done dirty by having such trash selfish parents . All this suffering for what ? She should have returned the memories long time ago . Towa wouldn’t have gone into a rage in the first place if not for this
Gosh anon you speak my mind!!! Rin could have returned Setsuna's memories as soon as she woke up. But no, for some stupid reason they kept the Setsuna's sealed memeory as some suspense.

The only reason it was sealed was cause it was painful. Like yeah, let the older twin suffer alone with her memories while you, for some reason, keep the younger's memories sealed 🤦♀️ Wow, much motherhood.
She should have returned the memories long time ago . Towa wouldn’t have gone into a rage in the first place if not for this
Exactly this ☝☝. So stupid 🙄
While the twins are dealing with Zero, Sesshomaru, on the other hand:

Question for all:
Do you think labeling the show as a sequel destroyed it? If they came out the gates from the beginning this is a 'What If' series and has no relevance to the original since it ended beautifully (as they say); would the arguments continue? For me, this is not a sequel of the original, even if they market it as such; the entire garbage is fanfiction...non-canon pedo mess RT should be ashamed of.
I'm torn between supporting RT any longer because I don't know why she did this; all I know is this show tanked for those devoted fans of IY the moment they put that pedo stuff in this show...claiming it to be a sequel. They never should have called it that, but we all know they needed money to make their fanfic manga.
The sad thing about this episode (like so many), it will be a mirror to this gross ship. She was shorter than him (like the S2 poster); he knew her when she was little and inadvertently continued to see her because she kept coming to the shrine (so he watched her grow up inadvertantly)
Her age is not determined when they 'get' together; not to mention you never see signs that they were romantically linked until you find out they had a child. The deity never showed he was in love with her, but he did care for her and you know his pain when she didn't show up.
Not to mention Riku's words at the last episode; I just feel it in my bones this episode is a parallel to that disgusting pedo crap!!

So their “Rin was 18” bullshit wasn’t enough and they’ll try anything to justify their sick sessrin portrayal even if it means justifying pedophilia, huh?

Seriously Sunrise… They just won’t learn, won’t they?

Meet Sesshomaru and Kagura's daughter Hikari. 🙂
Wow...really. First off, Rin is still the height of a child/teenager; all this time and she's still not at an equal height to Sessy like Kagome and Sango. Plus...really RT...Kagura's kimono? What an insult. I also noticed how Towa's eye color changed too; when RT first drew them they were pink. I suppose that was when the plot twist was Kagura as the mother. No words. 😒
Wait REALLY? RT drew adult Rin in Kagura’s clothes????
LMFAOOOOOOOOO.
Where her green earrings sess? We know who you really love bro. It’s so obvious 😂😂
