When Beomgyu takes his son to the playground, he doesn't sit on the bench and watch quietly like all the other parents, no no. He becomes a kid himself. His son can't keep up with him. Most parents have to drag their kids away from the playground when it's time to go, but in this case, it's the other way around.

Beomgyu and his son make pillow forts into an extreme sport. Don't expect to come home and find any couch cushions where they ought to be. In fact, don't expect to be able to step foot in the living room. And when you call for your boys to come and answer for themselves, all you hear is giggling and Beomgyu’s shushing.

His son would be the type to get tucked in, lights turned out, and then say, "I need a drink!" And when Gyu points out that there's a glass of water on his bedside, "I need cold water." Then Beomgyu would probably start complaining in satori lol Beomgyu and his son have the funniest bickering.

Definitely the type of dad to carry his sleeping son from the car to bed, not wanting to wake him up and have to be the bad guy and change him out of his clothes and brush his teeth.

His little boy is so curious whenever he sees his dad playing the guitar. Beomgyu puts him on his knee, a little awkward while also supporting the guitar but he makes it work, and lets him strum while Gyu makes the chord shapes. From that point on, any time his son sees the guitar in his dad's hands, he runs over and tries to climb up on Beomgyu's lap :)

Taehyun would probably take a while to warm up to the idea of being affectionate, so he would start out by curling up next to you while you were asleep and wouldn't notice. Eventually, he would realise that he sleeps better when he's close to you, and surrender to the act of nuzzling into your lap.

He'd play it cool the first time; acting like he's half asleep and shifting his head from the mattress onto your leg while you were watching TV. After a few minutes, he'd feel your fingertips through his hair, nails gently scratching his scalp soothingly, and start to drift off for real in your warmth, not noticing the contented humming sound he was emitting every now and then at your touch.

He's doing pretty well, if he had to say so. The pain of the end of your relationship has resigned to a dull ache. After almost a year of quietly pining and feeling sorry for himself, he’s decided it's time to move on. He's dressed nice—the nicest he's been for a long while—shaved and pep talked.

It's the nice part of town, a modern restaurant suitable for a first date, and he doesn't even mind that he had drive to the other side of the city. He's ushered to the table booked for the occasion, an intimate table by the window, noticing his palms beginning to grow slick; a sign that the nerves are kicking in. He sits for a few minutes before he starts to fiddle, checking his phone, reading the menu, arranging his cutlery and then tucking it back into the napkin, just as it had been. He sits back in his chair and glances up, eyes wandering around the room, trying to keep his jaw soft and his expression neutral despite his anxiousness.

All other patrons in the room are happily eating or chatting, a soft buzzing of voices accompanying the gentle clinking of dishes and glasses. He's started to feel a little more settled, until his gaze falls on a face he knows. He'd recognize her anywhere, a woman he's spent many hours with, memories crashing down over him in the most inopportune scenario. Your mother, happily enjoying an evening out with friends, unaware that he’s here and attempting to leave it all in the past and move on, start dating someone new.

He can't go through with it. Not with a flesh and blood reminder of you dining in the same room. Standing too quickly, almost sending his chair tumbling with the force of it, he skirts the room, throwing brief glances to the back of your mother's head to ensure he hasn't been seen, and makes his escape. Out in the night air, he lets out all his breath with relief, fumbling for his phone to cancel the date, promising himself he'll reschedule. It's just one slip up. But he spends the rest of his night thinking about you.
