I Love Nini
I love Nini
It’s hard to be apart the hsmtmts fandom when your favorite character is Nini. Also the fact she barely gets screentime this season. She gets sm hate for what? Also I love her beyond Olivia. Who else loves Nini?

it’s impossible to look that much into the future tho.,,
how is lila more interesting than marinette at this point
Ladybug told him to stop MULTIPLE times throughout the series and NOW he decided to listen when she did that. Also it’s a cartoon, like y’all take the exaggerated part lightly. I never thought of anything serious bc of it.
In the balcony scene chat was being annoying to her. you took that out of context.
Marinette wasent happy that he was sad. Like she thought she could cheer him up. But kagami literally used that sintiuation from her manga and used that situation so mari could ask him out. I don’t see how that is any better. Adrigami tried and failed.
Why would she apologize for be aggressive when he actually finally listened to her? Why would she feel remorse. it’s only an invitation for him to annoy her again.
Also this episode doesn’t show her obsession and she kinda stopped it. The only way she can get real consequences for it if she got caught
I need to get this off my chest. But first, let make this very clear to you.
Ladybug had every right to call out Chat Noir on his incessant flirting. It was about time that his flirting was addressed.
HOWEVER, Ladybug throwing him in a trash bin wasn't justified at all. And I can't believe that a lot of people actually found what she did to be acceptable and justified. Her calling him out was justified l; her throwing him in a trash bin and then violently shaking it to take him out was not. Would you like it if someone threw you in a trash bin? Hm? 🤨
And that doesn't end there. When she sees Adrien looking all sad, what does she do? She was HAPPY to see him sad and decides to take advantage of his sadness by giving him a present while fantasizing about it. This scene made her look like an opportunist, honestly. She didn't give a damn about Adrien's feelings. Compare this to Kagami who told Adrien this: "If there's something wrong, let me help you." Really, Thomas? I don't understand how you still expect EVERY fan of the show to root for Marinette and the love square while you also expect us to not root for Adrigami when you make Kagami more straightforward and honest about helping Adrien while making Marinette make a romantic fool of herself in front of him and not caring about his feelings, just her own.
Speaking of that, in the practice scene on the balcony, she tells him that his feelings don't matter and that it's about her, and then proceeds to shout at him by saying that it's not about him. Wow. Hypocrite much?
These scenes made me unable to enjoy the Marichat scenes, TBH. And when she told CN about her boy problems, I couldn't sympathize with her. Not only because of what happened earlier in the episode, but because the show in general treats her boy problems as if they're more serious and important than Adrien's family issues and even her own struggles as Ladybug.
In conclusion, Chat Noir promises Ladybug to stop acting all flirty with her and apologizes to her about it. While I find it disappointing that he's still pursuing her, at least he did tone down his flirting A LOT in subsequent episodes. Which is a surprise considering this show's lack of consistency and development.
Meanwhile, Marinette shows no remorse for being aggressive with Chat Noir, doesn't apologize to him, faces no consequences and learns no lesson at all. For the longest time, people have been saying that Adrien doesn't face consequences. Well, there you have it. Will Marinette ever face consequences for her constant obsession with Adrien? I highly doubt it considering that Thomas sees absolutely nothing wrong with her behavior...
what are adrien's flaws? /gen
His flaws are things that are born of his traumatic circumstances, which he had no part in creating, but still affected him enough.
He's very much prone to projecting his bad experiences with his father (and to a lesser extent, Chloe) onto his friends, who he has a better relationship. The one he does this most with is Marinette. There are people who are good at reading between the lines, Adrien is too good at it to the point of seeing things that aren't there.
He is someone who wasn't exposed to social cues, and while anyone who spent enough time growing up around kids would be able to tell that she is flustered and shy around him because she has a crush on him, but he is too used to taking people at their word (and more - Father can't spend time with him, he must be grieving, grieving mom is more important than being with me, therefore I'm not important - which is exactly what Gabriel is intending to do) that he wrongly, and is very QUICK to assume that Marinette just didn't like being around him.
With Ladybug, he projects something different, his desperate need for validation.
He views his relationship with her as some sort of transaction. As long as he is useful, Ladybug will keep him around. As long as he makes things funner and happier for her, she will tolerate his presence. Otherwise she has no use for him. This is all a direct consequence of being treated like a product for other people's pleasure. Adrien is so used to playing a role, playing a part, he genuinely doesn't think that who he is as a person is enough for the one he loves to want to be around him. Ironically, you have Ladybug, who loves him the way he is and doesn't want anyone else to take his place. He is painfully unaware of it and needs to be given encouragement that yes, he is wanted, he is needed.
(I just want someone to tell him that he is wanted and needed for who he is, not what he can give them)
The third flaw Adrien has, but is slowly growing out of, is his inability to know when to let go. He kept on holding out hope (in the most harmless way possible) that one day, Ladybug will love him the way he loves her, even if it was something that wasn't going to happen. But he has most definitely grown out of it, since as early as Season 3, and though he is in love with her, you don't exactly see him pursuing her, do you? He kept on hoping that Chloe will change, since people were giving her opportunities to, but that hasn't happened either and as of Queen Banana, he knows that. He was trying his best to keep his relationship with Kagami going, even with his feelings for Ladybug and his double life. He was still scraping for ways to be in her life, even if it was as a friend, but when Kagami declined the offer, he accepted it and didn't push further.
The one time the show was very very on the nose about this being a flawed mindset of Adrien's, but something he CAN keep in check was Desperada. He didnt give up for months to try and save Ladybug, but he was also humble enough to realise he wasn't the right person for the job then.
The fourth, is not exactly something harmful to others, but is self destructive, is his tendency to pretend that everything is fine and shut down, because he believes that his own feelings aren't worthy enough to be discussed, compared to the bigger problems at hand. One of Adrien's biggest strengths is his resilience, his ability to keep on going no matter what, but I worry if one day this is exactly what is going to lead to his breakdown too.
Also what marinette did isn’t the worse what lilas dona

Ephemeral Reveal Hot Take
So, I'm honestly happy that Ephemeral ended with a retcon. Because let's be honest: That reveal should not be allowed to be cannon. I don't think anyone will disagree with me that, we all want the reveal to be the ultimate moment of trust betweent the two of them. The moment where they both admit how much they can rely on eachother to keep eachother safe and don't need to keep secrets from eachother anymore.
this reveal, was many things, but it was most definitly not that about trust. They tried to sweep over it by having marinette change her mind later. But what happened was a simple act of manipulation and betrayal by Marinette, who basically defrauded him of his secret identity. The whole thing happening under false pretenses that it would be a mutual trust deal, only for her to reveal she never intended to trust him in return. To further take away the one thing Adrien knows, while keeping him in the dark as he's been since day one. It would've been one thing if the shock of it being adrien caused her to chicken out from nerves, that would've been forgiveable (and admittedly in-character), But as it's explicitly clear that marinette never intended to reveal herself...
And yeah, Marinette does come clean later. But the key-word there is later. Only when she realises that it's Adrien, only so she can date him. Not because they trust eachother but because the power of ladyboners is stronger then Su-Han's orders. I don't trust Su-han, I don't trust the order in general, but i especially don't trust his suspicious reasonings. I just hope that whenever the reveal happens for real, his cultist ass has nothing to do with it.
