Just think about the fights in the film for a sec. Look at that vs DK: Our hero only wins it because of the cat bell abilities. Not so cool.

Plus, doesn't that kinda feel like it's throwing out of the window the point of the training scene? It's messed up we don't get to see him use any of the skills\moves he learned in the 'obstacle course'.

And at the end with Bowser he attacks only after he's got the star. Before he just runs away, sure he's scared seeing a monster for the first time but i dunno. Mustache is supposed to incarnate the 'tough shorty' role, like Wolverine. He had to land a few good punches! 😤
