The tang of iron filling his mouth is intoxicating, tasting better than the finest bottle of whiskey he knows is safely tucked away in the nearby bedroom. The ache in his jaw is equally heady, teeth throbbing after taking a hard punch from the vigilante. Roman probes them cautiously with his tongue, finding to his delight (and rage) that Matt’s loosened one. With herculean effort, Roman turns the tables in their next turn, making use of both height and momentum to seize the initiative and switch their positions around, slamming the other man’s back against the wall hard. His chest heaves from the effort of doing so; Daredevil is not an easy opponent to tangle with but the exertion only fuels his racing heart, Roman latching his mouth onto the other’s just as hard. Blood, rage and lust all have their unique flavours and he relishes Matt’s, drinking it all in deep like a man slaking his thirst at an oasis. He lets him go a moment later, teeth bared as he fights for breath. “I hope you’re ready for round two, because I’m down to smash as soon as we’re done playing here.”

He wasn’t terribly well-acquainted with whoever was standing before him... but even Black Mask had heard a little about Dr. Thaddeus - or Sivana as he was better known, and from what he’d learned, the man was trouble. Taking a moment to give Sivana a cautionary look over, Roman’s objections only strengthened. One, Sivana looked creepy as fuck with that glowing blue eye. It reminded him of Cobblepot in a way, except that Sivana was even taller than Roman was if only by a fraction. Somehow that only made things worse and he gritted his teeth. “I already got my hands full with one pesky old bastard, I don’t need another getting in my way.”
