Don’t interpret someone’s lack of interest in you, be that romantic, platonic or otherwise, as a lack of personal worth or value on your end. What you have to offer may not be for everyone, but that doesn’t make it any less special, worth-while or important.

Remember that, and the next time you’re feeling rejected, know that for every person who prefers the dark, there are ten more who would love to bask in your glow.
