A tribute to my favorite romantic movie scene.
Anything Goes is stuck in my head
I'm getting that vintage queer culture forced into my brain
It's so catchy
I know more music than I should, and more lyrics from those than I should, and I'm terrible at picking favorites, so I'll just give an amusing bit from what's stuck in my head.
So there's this musical Anything Goes, if memory serves it's from the 1930s, and it has a song also called Anything Goes with a lot of stuff along the lines of 'oh wow, things are different now!'
Those have become much funnier in the about 90 years since the song was written, giving us this actual bit from it:

Like that was about women being able to wear pants and stuff, or dresses that showed (gasp) ankles! (dramatic music plays at this shocking revelation)
