All the Charlton-Created Characters that served as the foundation of Earth 4

My Earth 4 Project

For anyone who is at all interested in hearing, i have a personal fan project i’ve been working on for about 2 years now at this point called “Earth 4″. It’s not a fanfic. It’s a Fan Publication.

I have taken the past 70 years worth of DC comic book publication history and canon and created my own fan-based version of events to include Charlton characters from the beginning and center them as the pillars of the project.

There are only a few rules

1. No Earth Prime Superheroes that define Earth Prime continuity. i.e. No one from the Gardner Fox Justice League Or other major DC protagonists Or characters deeply entrenched in Earth Prime canon. No Batman. No Superman. No Flash.

2. No characters deeply associated with other Earths or universes. I.e. No Earth 2 characters, no Fawcettes, no Wildstorm, no marvel, etc.

2.1 Vertigo titles associated with existing earth 4 properties are still permitted.

3. Honor the works of Steve Ditko, Dennis O’Neal, Len Wein and David Michelinie. If a character is created by one of these characters, they will be included, except in the case of Rule 1. ex. While Lady Shiva and Azrael are part of Earth 4 because they were created by O’Neal, Ra’s Al Ghul and Talia are not because they are too deeply entrenched in Batman’s mythology.

4. The works of Jack Kirby are not allowed. This is because Kirby’s work honestly belongs on it’s own separate earth, and it’s really hard to imagine Kirby and Ditko coexisting in the same universe.

5. If a character excluded by the previous rules still needs to be included, they will be altered and turned into an OC to account for the radically different continuity. ex. while the Golden and silver age versions of Hawkman do not exist in Earth 4, because i have plans for a 60s version of the Rann-Thannigar War Event, an OC version of Hawkman will be included to serve in this story. However none of the reincarnation/Ancient Egypt related canon will be preserved.

6. Many villains that appear in the stories of included heroes do not actually debut in their stories or belong in their mythos. In these cases, edits or full on original versions of these debuts will be created and the villain will be assigned to a new hero. ex. Because Chronos exists as a villain for both Booster Gold and Ted Kord in separate series, Chronos has been kept around, but instead of being an Atom villain originally, they are now a Yellowjacket Villain.

7. "actually they never put pure-cocaine in coca cola, they mixed Coca Leafs with Syrup which extracted cocaine out of the lead, but it’s innacurate to say they put literal pure cocaine in their cola”

A taxonomy of OCs:

Unaware that there used to be cocaine in Coca Cola.

Refuses to believe that there used to be cocaine in Coca Cola.

Won’t stop talking about the fact that there used to be cocaine in Coca Cola.

Thinks they should put the cocaine back in Coca Cola.

Adds their own cocaine to Coca Cola.

Wait, they took the cocaine out of Coca Cola?
