Frank, Nico, Hazel, Hades, Persephone and Zagreus chilling.

Will: “Um… I didn’t know Nico had such a… big family.”

Persephone: “Yes, I suppose we do have a big family.”

Will: “So… Melinoë, you see ghosts?”

Melinoë: “Yes. And I drive mortals to madness.”

Will: “Do you… How do ghosts… y’know… react?”

Melinoë: “Well, all ghosts are different. Some seek vengeance, some are laid back. But that’s not what you mean is it? Ask me.”

Will: “There’s a doll on earth, a ragdoll, and people say it has an evil spirit inside. Is that true? Because that would change everything. That’d make it true crime, right? And with that being linked into true crime then all ghost crimes are true crime. Which is so interesting. Can you imagine? Then cops would have to take them seriously and they’d be classified as supernatural murder. Anyone who had seen ghosts would be taken seriously. Which would then change the course of mental hospitals. The whole justice system would change. That would be so interesting!”

Melinoë: “Yes, Annabelle is inhabited by a ghost.”

Will: “Seriously?!”

Will starts to rant again, asking questions.

Zagreus: “Is he always like this?”

Nico: “He’s really into true crime.”

Frank: “But if ghosts are committing murders then why haven’t they been taken to the underworld?”

Nico: “Well, that would ruin the fun wouldn’t it?”

Frank shifting uncomfortably.

- demigod!Price who naturally made great friends with Annabeth the moment he arrived. Half because they are siblings but also because they are basically the same just different genders. Annabeth is always looked at for guidance or to be the leader so is Price.

- demigod!Soap instantly didn’t like Rachel Dare, not for any particular reasons other then he thinks she’s freaky with her whole “ Freaky fuckin Oracle bullshit”.

- Demigod!Ghost who likes to hang out with Nico, they hide away from people in the Hades cabin playing cards or just simply existing. Of course until Will comes in and Ghost makes a quickly exit to avoid seeing whatever is about to go down.

- Demigod!Gaz who weirdly keeps being sought out for love advice even though he’s adamant that he’s shit at love advice. (His advice always turns out well)

- Demigod!Soap who befriends Percy with their love for jokes and weirdly the colour blue, well Soap just enjoys the colour. Percy’s like of the colour goes beyond that but still it’s cute their friendship is built on jokes and the colour blue (ofc other things too but these are the pillars)

one of my biggest pet peeves with the pjo fandom is the constant erasing of Annabeth's neurodivergency, but specifically her dyslexia.

I understand it's funny to make her the "smart one" and Percy the "dumb" one but like...erasing her struggles seems like you didn't understand the big picture of the books. It just leaves me feeling icky sometimes I suppose
