I dont think lbh ever really tried to kill lqg during the 5 years of corpse-zun...but i think it would be hilarious if, because liu qingge is an anomoly who was never meant to fight lbh, who admittedly isnt on binghe's level but hes still pidw's war god.....

Lbh just is incapable of killing lqg. Like some sort of video game glitch, like when you take an item out of its designated area when youre not supposed to and the game cant quite do what you want to, everytime binghe tries to kill lqg some sort of looney tunes-shit happens that save lqg last minute. Like the worlds game engine can let them fight, and Lqg will never be able to beat lbh in a fight, but everytime lbh tries to actually kill the man, he starts falling into xianxia manholes and xianxia anvils start falling a la the beam falling during the skinner incident

So with future number 2 together, I wonder who propose each other first?

Leona proposed first. It was very cringe.

The way I imagined it, they waited a few years to all get settled better. Then Leona got very impatient because Jamil is always working, and thus never available for dates, so he prepares a whole speech about the pros of marrying him (because he knows Jamil always overthinks everything so gotta get all the pros and cons out before Jamil can lose himself in his own head). Vil knows of his plan and doesn't interfere much.

Then after one of the Scalding Sands fireworks, to which both Vil and Leona were invited (as they've been for years) Leona pops the question. Jamil completely bugs at the very notion of "becoming a prince" and so Vil finally has to intervene so his two soon-to-be husbands get on with it.

Once they've settled everything about Jamil's situation, Leona proposes again, this time to Vil. It's a whole date day during which he (and Jamil) treat Vil like the Queen he is, and finally Leona pops the ring up.

It's a bit of a mess, but it's all expected. None of them is surprised by the development. Jamil just can't get his head around the whole "Prince" thing.

The worst thing the Twisted Wonderland fandom does in my opinion is dumb down the complexities of some of these characters and/or their relationships with other characters simply because they don't like them. OR, they over emphasis certain aspects of characters and glaze over any complexity they might have because they're scared of their favorites being viewed as bad or evil.

A great example is with Jamil and Kalim. People really don't talk enough about how much privilege plays a part in their relationship. Kalim has the privilege of being ignorant, he's allowed to not understand the complexities around the world because his parent's have payed for it to be that way his entire life. Jamil doesn't have those same privileges. So much of Jamil's life has forcefully revolved around Kamil to the point where he doesn't feel like he has a sense of self. He's scared of doing anything or saying anything because while Kalim might take it well, his parent's might not, and this could really affect his family. None of that justifies what Jamil did to Kalim, and it isn't dumb to think that Kalim probably has some very confusing thoughts surrounding him and Jamil's relationship. If someone you thought was your friend your entire life revealed to actually hate you, you would have some issues. Kalim has to deal with the fact that the only person he thought was his real friend actually hated him for something he realistically can't change, and that's tough.

My point in all this is to say that Kalim and Jamil's relationship is incredibly complex, but so many people have clear preferences for either characters, and completely ignore any complexities they might have. The statement, "Jamil is a terrible person because he traumatized sunshine boy Kalim" ignores Kalim's immense privilege and paints him as a little baby who, despite if he was aware of it or not, was involved in the oppression of Jamil's family. "Kalim is stupid for not realizing that Jamil didn't like him, he deserved what he went though" ignores that fact that like Jamil, Kamil is also a victim of circumstance, and contemning him completely isn't right, especially when you take into account the fact that Kamil genuinely felt bad for hurting Jamil in any way.

The reason this all happens is because none of the twisted wonderland characters are perfect victims, which is kinda the point. One of the messages of the game is that anyone can be a good person as long as they have the motivation to change. The game isn't completely ignoring anything these characters have done, Kamil still struggles with overstepping Jamil's boundaries even after his overblot, but you condemning these characters for things their working past is literally against the point of the game. On the same hand, painting these characters as perfect angels and stripping of them of any complexities ignores integral aspects of these characters.

None of these characters are perfect, they're selfish and demanding and mean, but that's literally the point of the game. It's okay to like Malleus and think he's cute and all, but painting him as someone who's just a dumb lizard boy who wants friends and not a near god like being who is so afraid of abandonment that he's willing to put everyone in the entire school in harms way is bad and ignores his character growth. You're allowed to not like Vil, but painting him as a literal villain who hates anyone who isn't conventionally attractive and not someone who was raised in an industry that actively painted him as a villain, causing him to internalize that image, and then simultaneously criticized him for being so uptight and rude, is bad and ignores his character growth.

I'm tired to seeing people say that they like a character while in reality they like idea of a character. The like the concept of what that character could be if they wrote that character, and in their heads that character would be perfect and stripped of anything that could make them bad, ironically ruining what made that character good in the first place.
