So Jamil won and honestly, I agree. The concept of Jamil being the vampire slayer verses Leona and Vil as vampires would really align more with his character and be a fun crossover. I still had some ideas for Leona and Vil as slayers so I might blab about that some other time but Jamil the vampire slayer will get his own post and drabblings and art <3 I’m still super inspired so hopefully I’ll do that this weekend! It’ll be his late birthday gift :3

New Fic Collab!
If any of you have been following @mellosdrawings and their Loser/N2 Squad art, this fic is for you! Mello and I have been working on this project together for a while, and we're currently 44K words and several dozen illustrations deep - though we're far from done! All the same, we've agreed to start uploading slowly while we work on the back end.

When you’re a vampire slayer but the vampires you gotta slay are really hot and actually not entirely evil and want to help you. And they think you’re cute. 🥰
Not dead entirely, I’m still working on the Slayer N2 Squad thingy and my will to draw is coming back! I overthought this entire idea and so I’m trying to cut it down to just focus on these guys mostly.
I will give a little crumbs!
Jamil Viper is the current Slayer. He’s been trained from a child and his superiors think they’ve got him under his thumb…but Jamil is incredibly aware of what’s going on and how he’s basically being used for personal gain from the Watchers Council (in charge of guiding slayers) and the Al-Asim’s (the most powerful and influential mage family). Jamil simply accepts this fate as he feels powerless to stop it but when he finds a prophecy about himself he finds a spark of will. A spark that turns into a roaring flame by two pushy and sexy vampires.

How are Vil's fans (and Leona's fans, as I'm sure he have some) with the n2 team? Have they had a big reaction to the fact that it's a polyamorous relationship? How does Jamil deal with this attention?
Do the Asims know about their relationship? I mean, I think Vil as a public figure and Leona as a prince would draw attention.And how does Jamil's family react? I think they want Jamil to be happy, but they're afraid of what the Asims might do. And I think they expected Jamil to end up with a servant (I'm using the reasoning that Viper is Jamil's father's last name, but his mother also seems to be very used to being a servant, so she must be from a servant family of the Asims, less important than the Vipers) or at least a commoner and lower class person than Jamil's current boyfriends.
For now I'll only answer for Vil's fans. The Asim and the Viper reactions will be coming sometime soon.
Vil dropped the news little by little. Leona and Jamil in the background of more relax pics, a couple dance sessions with Jamil, inconspicuous things. Just to get his fans used to their sight.
The he dropped hints, bigger and bigger, until the reveal. Aside from the few fans who are far too into parasocial relationships and are salty about Vil dating coz that means they have no chance anymore (not that they had any), it went relatively fine. They took one look at Leona and went "Yup, our Queen deserves a prince, good for him good for him."
The thing that surprised Vil though is that his fans latched onto Jamil more than Leona. After all as you said Leona is a public figure. They know him. Jamil though doesn't even post pics of himself on Magicam. He's a total mystery. They know he's a dancer so they try to check music videos (useless), they try finding his magicam (they don't), and eventually someone finds out those two pics taken at the Tapis Rouge event (which doesn't help much coz they still don't know who he is lol)
The mystery actually helps fans ease into it. They're just so obsessed with finding who Jamil is that they forget to (maybe) be upset about their Queen's love life.
As for Jamil... he just doesn't deal with the attention. He's not much on socials so he doesn't care, and despite being eye candy he isn't all that charismatic so people don't pay much attention to him. He got cornered by a few hardcore fans who miraculously managed to recognise him and he just plastered his best customer service smile until they left him alone. He's dealt with worse than pushy fans before. He might not be used to being the center of attention, he's still good at dealing with stressful situations.
Still tired and exhausted this week but I finished this at least!! I'll write more stuff later but until then just enjoy the big bad Slayer running from some uber scary vampires.

I can't claim I always do those things, but hand placement or little details like changing the side with which you carry a bag when you walk alongside someone is important. It shows thoughtless care, which is the cutest, most important show of silent love to me.
Kinda curious as to how Jamil successfully escaped the Asims 👀 in a sense, since his servant role was so important
The "trade" went surprisingly well. Jamil isn't too sure how to feel about it tho.
I feel like Leona is very good at geopolitics despite not liking it. He would've found a way to convince the Asims to let their precious servant elope with him. Plus the current Scalding Sands Head Ambassador is getting senile, someone should definitely take their place. Everybody gets a juicy share of the cake.
But... that's Leona's point of view about the situation. If you ask someone else...
Who knows if the Asims let Jamil go for economic and political purpose, or simply because they decided to be gracious for his years of good work. Jamil would probably have an easier time believing the former version.
Can we know more about Kinga? She's so butc- I mean pret - I mean step on m - I mean DAMNIT!!! You know what I mean.

Kinga is a guard at Sunset Savanah palace. She's been friends with Imani (Falena's wife) for a very long time and has been her personal bodyguard for years.
She's had a fling with Leona when they were young teens but between him running away to NRC and her duties, it never went anywhere. When he graduated from school they became friends again (though with Leona now having two boyfriends they never flirted again). She has been appointed as Leona's bodyguard a few times.
After Leona's wedding, Leona came to her to ask about helping him get a biological kid. She was off duty due to injury (a few broken bones, nothing major) and agreed to it. Since Koffi's birth she became her nanny when she's not busy doing bodyguard duties for Imani. Koffi considers her more like her close aunt than her actual mother, but the two are still very close and spend a lot of time together.
Kinga is regularly invited to family dinners (involving both Falena's and Leona's sides of the family). She is close to everybody there, but she does get along the best with Leona, Imani, and Jamil.
She's strong headed, stubborn, and unapologetic. A real fierce lioness whose claws and fangs are particularly sharp. She will do anything to protect her wards and is very duty oriented.
She has a soft spot for hamsters and she knits and does bead work in her free time. Her favorite flowers are Chinese lanterns (Physalis alkekengi) though she doesn't really like the taste of their fruits.
(And tho nobody asked here's some more of Imani)

Is Leona a good dancer, or is he just basic?
He's a decent dancer. As a prince he's been taught a handful of dances (waltz and other traditional kenyan dances (Isukuti or Mwomboko maybe?)) to attend political events and balls, but he doesn't particularly likes it. He'd rather stand to the side and munch on appetizers.
Though if Jamil and Vil ask nicely enough he can be prompted into waltzing with them every once in a while.

Who out of the N2 squad gets sick/ill the most?
Jamil without a doubt. Vil has a proper care of his body and Leona rests a lot, but Jamil is always overworked and stressed. He'd be the one to catch stuff the easiest just because he's always tired. And then he'd refuse to rest so he'd just make his condition worse. Jamil would be a terrible patient.
Vil comes second because he also tends to overwork himself. And just like Jamil he'd be a terrible patient because he'd want to do something and keep the grind going.
Leona probably is the kind who gets sick once in a blue moon, but when he's sick it's the end of the world and he needs to go to the hospital.
All in all, none of them gets sick that frequently, but Jamil is sure to get sniffles whenever winter hits.
Don't tell Cheka or he'll never stop bothering Leona about it.
(Plus Leona has huge big brother energy with Savanaclaw and I won't be convinced otherwise)
