Why do people even watch Chicago PD if they don't like Voight's character and think he's a monster?

Like, honestly, he's grey af, but

1. It's fictional. I use his actions as a tool to think deeper about my own moral compass, not to emulate him. We don't need perfect characters. We need characters who make us THINK and EVALUATE ourselves.

2. In his own way, he respects life. Else, he would not be out there becoming a beast everytime someone attacks an innocent.

No but Hank talking about Justin hits different because that was PD’s backdoor pilot in Fire; say what you want about Hank, he loved his son. I love how much things are tying back to the early years in PD/Fire. Hank may be morally grey but his not the monster the fandom makes him out to be. The fact that they killed off Justin still stings; I hope we get a scene with his grandson soon.

we all know that if andy were the one to have beat juliet up on that plane he would still be feeling the consequences, so why the fuck does juliet get off scot free with fans defending her instead of andy?

missing season one when the only couple in the friend group were john b and sarah, like why did they have to ruin the characters' dynamics by pairing together every single character?? as if in order to have a "happy ending" you have to be with someone or else you'll be miserable

and don't even get me started on jiara, those two have the biggest siblings energy and they just end up together because of the annoying fans who harassed madison and rudy and pushed the jiara agenda ughh they had zero chemistry and it felt so forced that it physically hurt me to watch their interactions, every scene was just so so bland and boring and yet people love them? kiara lierally said "i love you dude" and jj was like "thanks, great" lmaoo what are we talking about?

the fact that even rafe and barry have more chemistry than them and with way less scenes together says a lot tbh

also i really hate the fact that the writers had kie be with every boy!! she's her own person and they did her dirty with all this stupid relationship business, just leave them friends for god's sake it's not that hard

In the Eragon-verse it's implied that dragons are already semi-cognizant within their eggs and can choose when to hatch. Which just makes it all the more wild and kind of heartbreaking that Thorn hatched for Murtagh when he did? Like, what was his fetal thought process? Wow, this guy's got problems! Anyone gonna join him in having an absolutely awful time? And then Thorn didn't wait for an answer.

Something that bothered me this time that had never bothered me before was when Aang tells Katara, "You sound like Jet."

He said that to stop Katara from taking revenge, right? To make her stop and think? Doesn't anyone think that this is fucked up? Like, let's examine this.

"You sound like Jet."

Okay, which Jet?

Jet from his debut episode where he tried to destroy an entire village to get rid of some Fire Nation troops? How does that sound like Katara trying to find the one man who killed her mother?

Or is it the Jet from Lake Laogai who died trying to find Appa? Yes, he did some bad things, but he died in his attempt to help the gang find Appa. Shouldn't Aang hold Jet in higher regard for leading them to Lake Laogai and getting them closer to finding Appa and exposing Long Feng and the Dai Lee? He just uses his name like it's slander to make Katara feel bad for wanting to get revenge on this one guy. That's how you treat the memory of a friend who died for your bison?
