Good Morning. Please Pitch Me Your Favorite Descended From The Queen Games.

Good morning. Please pitch me your favorite Descended From the Queen games.

I played You Know Me Still last night during a Party of One recording, and I how excellent a fit they are for the podcast. Especially for potential guests who are unfamiliar with TTRPGs--easy to get up and running, very vibes heavy, something I can break out at a moment's notice and ease into the experience. I want to keep a few more in my back pocket.

Self-promo extremely welcome.

I could watch a whole episode of Take Some Direction. And I've started using a version of it (with somewhat more hinged prompts) in the classes I teach at my day job

"Paint me like one of your French girls" - with some new direction 🎨

One thing I find hilarious about NSBU is that everyone seems to have forgotten Dave was with them when they got transported to Action World, which means he's probably wandering aimlessly around, incredibly confused about his situation, while nobody's looking for him

In your benevolence, the Fanatic wishes for A grey day tomorrow.

@merelymatt says, Caleb is a sweetheart, and I need you to know that now, because we made him play a real rotter. An unrepentant wrong'un. And it seems like he had fun with it! There's a thing he does as the character where he elongates and relishes the names of those he despises – if I ever hear my name in that cadence from Caleb, I'm running. I'll be halfway down the road before he hits the final consonant. Real life? Sweetheart. In character? Terrifying.

Dédé's episode is the first one I wrote, when I was still at the noodling stage of I Need A Miracle, and so it's probably the one I rewrote the most times, both to get the story and character right, and to stay current with changes I made to the story, setting and series as a whole. If you ever listened to Natalie Winter's Ragged Scratch podcast, or if you saw the I Need A Miracle page when it first went up on foggyoutline.com, you may have heard an early version of this script performed by Devika Joshi. Maybe that version will resurface as bonus content? Who knows?

"They said the script was gonna make it easier. Sounded like a great idea."

Jillin, the Campaigner – played by Dédé Davi

Dede Voice over

In your benevolence, the Campaigner appeals for Justice for Meridian Veccole.

@merelymatt says, in some places I've given Dédé an "and introducing" credit, because before we cast her in I Need A Miracle, she'd mainly done corporate voiceover (alongside being a singer). She really put the work in, and I don't think you'd ever guess this performance was a debut. It was important to me and (I think) to casting director Fiona Thraille as well to cast a mix of experienced and early-career voice actors. I'd absolutely love if this performance launches Dédé to bigger and better things.
