[12.05 a.m] | random scene--

a/n: I don't know when I will begin writing the series. This is a random scene I wrote from the rough draft.

“Ouch-” He hissed in pain as the knife left his grip and clattered on the sink. Blood began dropping in droplets on the countertop. Seungmin snapped his head toward the elder and gestured for him to go to the toilet without uttering a word, his face unfazed by Minho’s wound.

Switching the light on, he let his finger under the running water. He watched the bright red liquid disappear into the drain. He tried to eliminate the pain clenching every inch of his body by occupying his mind with the sight. A small cut from a knife shouldn’t hurt this much but currently, the pain felt like a stab into his stomach. He turned off the faucet and lifted his head, coming face to face with his reflection for the first time.

True, he had never seen his reflection before as there weren’t any mirrors in the house except in the kitchen bathroom he just discovered now. The running footsteps(he recognized it was Seungmin’s) leaving the kitchen became silent to his ear for a moment. Stunned by his appearance, he touched his face. In the reflection, his face was decorated with scars and his left eye was grey while the other remained untouched. He tried searching for the marks but nothing, he couldn’t feel any trace. He glanced over his bleeding finger. Once was a bleeding finger because his finger had magically healed..? 

He looked back and forth between his reflection and his bleeding finger. He’s sure the other him isn’t a figment so what the hell is happening? He leaned forward completely, wanting to run his fingers against the mirror, only for it to crack the second he got closer. He recoiled, more dumbfounded than ever. His heart fell to the pit of his stomach, catching a glimpse of nothing in the mirror.

Empty- no reflection of him. An empty broken mirror was all that was left in front of him.
