evan sat at the café waiting, 1… 2… 3… ding. he glanced up and there he was barty. the man that evan has become enthralled with, he is a puzzle. evan wants nothing more than to dig through his bones and flesh take apart the puzzle and put it back together. he wants to destroy him and find how all the pieces fit back together. he wants him all for himself .

like barty does every day he gets a black coffee, and a cold brew with coconut milk and three pumps of vanilla syrup. evan has learned the black coffee is not for him it’s for a strange boy named regulus that has almost caught evan from the shadows. regulus is an anomaly. he will be at bartys apartment complex but never staying for long. but regulus isn’t who evan is interested in. what evan is interested in is their relationship, something went on between them at one point evan doesn’t like that. he only wants barty for himself.

that’s why he observes, taking in everything he can about the man. evan knows more about the man than he does about his own father. he know that barty has work at 9 but will always stop at the café next to the tattoo shop he works at. evan know he finished work at 5 but will stay till 6.

evan knows that barty has a crooked nose from breaking it three separate times as a kid. but what evan doesn’t know is why does barty goes to his clinic that he works at and why does he ask for evan specifically when he gets his blood drawn. evan has been observing him for sometime but he still can’t figure out why barty asks for him. he knows barty doesn’t know he observes him. he knows barty isn’t aware that evan knows bartys exact schedule. so why does barty seem obsessed with evan? it’s obsession is what evan labeled it as. that’s the only viable answer right? not friendliness obsession.
