At this point, I might as well be introduced as that one account who will not shut up about every family/found family/sibling content she becomes emotionally attached too. :') I will draw them all-

I Headcanon That They Both Do Know Basic Cooking, Just Not 3-5 Star Levels Of Cooking. Just Enough For
I headcanon that they both do know basic cooking, just not 3-5 star levels of cooking. Just enough for them to survive in this world without giving each other food poisoning. Lol.
But maybe during the time when Ingo goes to Hisui, both of them individually improved their cooking. Ingo learns more about cooking for the sake of his survival, and maybe the Pearl Clan did help him out. Meanwhile, Emmet learnt more about cooking as a hobby/coping mechanism to handle his grief. Screw take outs. Elesa is going to have Emmet's cooking from now on. Lol

Hey, @blaiddraws. I made a little something for your short fic. đ
It was too gosh darn cute to ignore, okay!? Lol

I'll say this once and I'll say it again; I came here for the family stuff. I did not expect myself to get dragged into dojoshipping, and I ain't complaining.
I love them. Why are they so flipping lovely together? :'D
Hey guys, something is happening

I had an activity that involved making a comic. The opportunity was there and I took it. I drew 2/3 of the Nimbasa Trio as side characters in a random restaurant comic.
My teacher will probably be confused once she receives it. : D

Later:

It does make it look like Emmet is about to risk his allergies for dessert. Lol
I had a dream today about a potential AU.
Basically it followed Irida after the events of P:LA, where she (and Adaman) receive blessings/wishes for their part in aiding against the end of the world. She wishes for something along the lines of âensuring the safety and happiness of her clanâ.
This leads to her sticking around long after her death as a spirit, her soul tied to the people of her clan. She works, quietly and subtly helping her future clans-people with things such as guiding them home when theyâre lost, a sense of comfort when theyâre alone and sad, etc.
Eventually her clan dwindles out, there are still descendants and such but theyâre no longer officially considered âPearl Clanâ and her soul isnât as bound to them. She expects to finally move on when the last member passes and is very understandably confused when she doesnât.
She ends up just roaming for a long ass time just enjoying the world for what it is and how itâs developed until one day she feels a sharp tug at her soul that she hasnât felt in god knows how long and follows it confused before ending up just staring at a tiny lil modern day Ingo and sheâs just very fondly like âah of courseâ.
Anyway in the dream being the ghost that she is she ends up somehow (donât ask idk lmao) becoming his chandelure and gets to see the type of person he was before he lost his memory and also gets to see first hand how sincerely missed and loved he was when he disappeared off to Hisui. By this time I imagine sheâs also quite fond of Emmet so sheâs equally sad that she canât communicate to him that his brother is fine and will come home one day. He ends up snapping at her for seemingly ânot caringâ he was gone and itâs all just very sad :(
Then I woke up and Iâm posting this here but genuinely Iâm now very đ at my own brain for spawning this and am mad itâs not real content I can consume hghg đ
I keep telling myself that I wouldn't draw unhappy/bittersweet Submas angst, and I won't. This is for my poor heart's sake. Lol
But there is always at least ONE bittersweet idea passing through my head.
Here is one example;
____________________________________________
A Violet Evergarden inspired AU where Ingo slowly started remembering his memories of the future, but accepted the fact that he's stuck in the past and has to live with it. But to help move on from his loss, he writes a letter to Emmet and his family, hoping that his letter will one day reach them even after his death.
So timeskip to hundreds of years in the future, the letter has been traveling all around the world for a few centuries, looking for its reciever, and at last, the letter finally reached Emmet.
In the letter, it gives a brief explanation to what happened to Ingo. The rest of it was how he was doing, living life in Hisui, reassuring Emmet that despite everything, he is somewhere he can happily call home. But home will never be the same without his twin brother. He's sorry for forgetting him. He'll miss him.
By the time Emmet received this letter, Ingo was already dead hundreds of years ago.
Emmet grieves his loss all over again. All hope of Ingo returning was gone. He lost his brother for good. But maybe this time, Emmet can finally move on now. It will take a while, a very long while, but he'll get there one day. He moved on once, and he can properly do it again. So for now, he'll mourn for his deceased brother.
Maybe he even read the stories of Warden Ingo. Now Emmet is truly reassured that Ingo lived a decent life in Hisui. He made a familial bond with the Pearl clan. He wasn't alone. It was better than nothing.
He'll miss him too.
____________________________________________
There was an alternate happy ending where they finally pinpointed Ingo's time and location, then Emmet and Elesa time traveled their way to the past.
Think of the twins but with the Violet and Gilbert reunion. Dramatic. Oof
