Okay this is cute.

See how all the critters are black? Well I saw a post where it's commonly believed that black cats bring bad luck

And since Aventurine is just this big ball of good luck he basically balances out the bad luck these critters bring.

Like imagine how wholesome it is for Aventurine to adopt black cats knowing how hard it is for them to be adopted (cause they're always believed to bring bad luck) cause he knew he'd counter their bad luck with his good luck.

If that sounded confusing, my apologies. It sounded right in my head lol

Spoilers for the Honkai Star rail 2.2 quest:

Can you just imagine how Robin felt throughout that whole quest, throughout that whole journey and realisation of what her brother had become.

He became the very two things that Robin tried to stop in her goal of helping others.

Sunday became the cage that believed in the control of both her and the people's freedom as protection. Because to him, what is the point of letting them go when they will get shot down by the cruelty of reality anyways?

He went against what Robin has been trying to inspire others: Hope and Freedom.

But he was also the bird in the cage who couldn't save himself from his own misery. You can see how so many factors played in worsening his mindset throughout his whole life. From the bird that died, to the Family influence, to the sister he nearly lost. Just like half of Penacony, he too lost hope of reality.

Robin's goal was to spread hope for others from outside her home, the freedom that people longed for. But within her home, she wasn't able to give him the hope and freedom that they longed for. She wasn't able to save her brother on time before it was too late.

based on arlecchinos voiceline about her not being able to understand the hearth kids' slang, here are some scenarios me and my friend came up with:

arle, sitting in the corner: "what the fuck are you saying"

lyney, trying to explain what camp means

arle: *head in hands, about to go up in flames because she feels old*

"why are you coming out of the closet? we're in a hallway, there is no closet?"

"What do you mean you think it's time to come out? We're already outside?"

"who did you slay? do i need to bury a body for you?"

arle, to lyney: "wait i thought you were going to be the next king of the hearth. why is everyone calling you a queen?"

"Lynnette why did you write 'slay pussy boss' on the report about Furina I had you make?"

Arle: you can't do that anymore freminet. That's against the rules

Freminet: okay miss girl

Arle: ???? I am a woman???

lyney: "youre gaslighting and gatekeeping, but youre not girlbossing"

i need y’all to know that i am still ABSOLUTELY taking “joe hills got isekai’d into the protagonist of legends arceus” as like, the canonical explanation of what happened to him after big moon. he tries to fly to escape the big moon. he sees a brilliant shining light as he begins to think he didn’t escape. the light talks to him, he’s not really paying that much attention -

- and now his communicator has a weird phone case, he’s in a world where animals that command the elements keep on trying to attack him, and also inexplicably everyone is speaking with the stupidest accents imaginable. also all the animals that command the elements keep on trying to kill him, which like, isn’t THAT weird? animals try to kill him all the time at home! they’re normally just not, like, shooting electricity at him when they do it?

well, at least he gets a mouse that can breathe fire out of the deal! you should absolutely trust him with a mouse that can breathe fire. he won’t make poor decisions with that at all.

(after he gets back he tries to explain this and etho’s like. “that doesn’t sound like pixelmon.” and joe’s like “that’s because it’s pokesmon”. and etho’s like “fair enough.” i cannot decide if it’s funnier if he still has whatever pokemon end up being on him when he beats the game or not,)

Lil bittersweet submas drabble

The first thing Ingo did was apologize. Apologize that the brother Emmet had had was no more, as dead to the world as the Pearl Clan were now. That he was not the same person Emmet had lost. Emmet smiled. “Neither am I.” Grief had shaped them both into other people, different than they once had been. Emmet’s smile widened. “In that way, we still match.” With a puff of laugh that strained closer to a sob, Ingo nodded and pressed his forehead harder into Emmet’s shoulder. Emmet joined him with a giggle that was quieter, but no less genuine.

sometimes i think about how rukkha using her powers to protect everyone causes her to become small and vulnerable, yet she never had someone (like a familiar) there to protect and take care of her during those times… i wish nahida never has to wake up alone and confused again.

Ok so this wouldn’t be anything formal, just a list of dates and prompts, but would anyone be interested in a dojoshipping week? Any particular dates that might work if so?

The two reunite but are no longer in sync like before. Doesn't really help that Ingo has amnesia. But they are both willing to build up their brotherly relationship again.

Emmet will love Ingo no matter how difficult the journey will be, even if Ingo will no longer see him as a brother. Ingo will one day confidently tell Emmet that he loves him as well, even when he already unconsciously loves him back.

Yeah, I haven't moved on from these two- :'D

Guys, here me out... A reprise of "It starts with sorry" after Sir Pentious got redeemed.

For whatever reason, Charlie is allowed back to heaven for important business again. She walks through the heavens determined till she bumps into Sir Pentious. Sir Pentious, her friend, the first guest who came to her door step, the one who kept changing for the better till their dying breathe, is alive.

He's here and he's redeemed.

Sir Pentious is just as awkward as ever as he tries to do small talk with her, about how he's here or something, yet Charlie stays quiet. He immediately recognises both her shock and the tears in her eyes. And so, he finally calms down. He talks again, but this time through a song that started it all.

It starts with sorry, sorry it took him this long to see her again, sorry that his 'death' probably hurt everyone.

And then lyrics shifts to the word 'thank you'. Thank you for giving him the chance to change, to believe in him. And because of her belief in him, he proved redemption is possible.

It started with sorry, and now it ends with thank you.

He thanks Charlie and his friends for everything.

The weird instinct to sing that you are sorry confuses Ingo to no end.

Although rare, I always love Traveler being a close friend/involved with the Ragbros in fan content, because it just sets up for angsty comparisons between their sibling relationships.

(For now, I'll write Lumine as the Traveler since she is who I play as)

The idea of Lumine being terrified of her brotherly relationship with Aether ending up like Kaeya and Diluc's has always been such angsty take. Her confidence and determination to reunite with him slightly dwindled the moment we meet Aether. For all her pleading to come back with her and make their own home, to have her brother back in her adventures, he refuses. A sign that their sibling relationship will slowly become distant over the course of the game if he keeps pushing her away, which is why she still tries reaching out for him.

And then there is Ragbros, where their relationship is already established that it became strained and distant ever since the death of their father. The very thing that Traveler fears to become. That's a common take from Ragbros fans.

Yet despite their complicated relationship, Diluc and Kaeya still have each other. They have not yet completely removed themselves from each other's lives. Kaeya still keeping the Darknight Hero's identity a secret, Diluc still allowing Kaeya to visit Dawn Winery, Kaeya still helping him with the Winery from time to time , Diluc still attempting to offer him stuff such as dinner and wine, HECK do you still want me to bring up their letters to each other while Diluc was away for 4 years?

Maybe that's what would emotionally hit Traveler. That for all their conflicts, they still have each other in their own awkward and wacky way. That's what Lumine wants. To be there for her brother. It says so much when she still continues to search for him even after learning that he joined the abyss Order.

God gravy these siblings will be the death of me. :'D
