I'll say this once and I'll say it again; I came here for the family stuff. I did not expect myself to get dragged into dojoshipping, and I ain't complaining.

I love them. Why are they so flipping lovely together? :'D

I love Zisu.

I never played Arceus nor any other pokemon games aside from Pokemon Masters. I am a fresh fan so please spare my lack of knowledge. I only knew Zisu through the Ingo content, and I know that she's a side character in the story.

But I still ended up liking her character. Put Ingo aside for just a good second, then Zisu is considered one of my favourite pokemon characters and I don't know why. Lol

While there isn't a lot, Zisu still has her fair amount of character interpretations and roles in fanfics. A kind, strong and enthusiastic captain who helps train the mc and her security corps members to become even better battlers. How can you not love her?

I want to get to know more about her character, her backstory, why she became a captain, her own strengths and struggles, etc.

I just want more Zisu content. :'D

The flower reminded Ingo of someone.

He gave the flower to that someone.

In return, he also gets a flower. :)

(This is how my brain convinces me to finally draw more Ingo: It's just Dojoshipping giving me the fuel to do it. Lol)

Spy x Family AU fanart is back!

@ghostypetrainer I kid you not, drawing for your AU is one of my favourite things to do on Tumblr. I just love this gosh darn AU so much.

So... Zisu angst. :'D

She barely has angst so I might as well make it myself. Lol

Her lack of a backstory in canon kind of fits with her mysterious backstory in the AU: We just completely don't know much about Zisu.

I can imagine Zisu seeing herself and her mom in Akari and Ingo from time to time.

She looks at the way Ingo's neutral expression softens anytime he's with Akari, how he treats her like his own daughter despite the fact that this is a fake family with their own benefits. He doesn't have to put on the act inside the house, yet he happily takes his role as a father seriously.

Ingo reminds her off her mother, caring and sacrificial. Ingo puts her father to shame, beyond the man with the same blood as hers.

She looks at Akari and is sometimes reminded of herself. Once an active and carefree kid like her past self. How this kid has full confidence on Zisu to fix any problem that comes her way. For as long as they are a "fake family", she will protect that active and carefree personality till she is no longer needed.

Just for this moment, the greatest spy sees these two together and mourns for the first family she loved and lost all those years ago.

So yeah. Zisu angst- :'D

DxP REWRITE - Training Grounds

This might be the first Pokémon battle I’ve ever done in multi-panel form. I actually had to redraw it a little last minute because I forgot Stone Edge is an attack from below, not above lol

I was talking with the mister how it’s odd that Rock moves tend to have iffy accuracy, which he reasoned is balanced out by their high power. Doesn’t help, though, when they’re facing an agile opponent like Glaceon (would‘ve been more evasive if weather moves & abilities existed in Hisui’s time - good luck trying to hit a Snow Cloak Glaceon 🌨️❄️)

While he still doesn’t have most of his memories (he has a vague picture of where he came from at this point, no names or places yet), I’d like to think parts of Ingo’s old personality started to come back, namely his volume. I always thought it sweet, though, how he drops his arms (because they must be tired holding them up in that pose lol), & smiles at us when we win. ^_^

happy Valentine's day have a short cozy little thing i wrote the other day.

(i am not immune to sleepy cuddling and it Shows. also this poor man deserves some rest lmao)

Ingo awoke slowly.

The sound of leaves rustling in the wind, the chirps and trills of starly, gently encouraged him into wakefulness.

A cool breeze began to blow, cutting through his clothes just enough to cause him to shiver. He curled in slightly, nestling closer to the warm body he laid against.

They wrapped their arm around his shoulders, pulling him even closer, and he let out a deep sigh of contentment.

In retrospect, he was a bit embarrassed, though he would only ever admit that to himself, at how long it took for his mind to fully catch on to the situation.

But quickly enough, the gears in his mind finally clicked together properly, and he inadvertently tensed up.

What. He was… cuddling with someone. Zisu. (He was… long since acquainted with Zisu's hugs, the woman did not hesitate to show her affection and was quite physical about it. He could easily recognize the feel of her arms around him, her familiar, unique smell, and any number of other small factors.)

He couldn't remember how he got in this situation.

(Not that he was complaining, per se, but he could feel himself quickly growing flustered.)

But.

The weather was nice. He was… comfortable, despite being flustered. And he was still blanketed by that sleepy haze from having just woken up -- he never did wake up very quickly.

And miraculously, it seemed Zisu was still asleep.

He carefully pried open his eyes, wary of the bright sunlight of the fieldlands. The two of them were resting in the grass under a tree, and Ingo could see a few of Zisu's pokemon nearby.

From his position tucked against her side, he couldn't see her face, but he was fairly confident Zisu was still asleep. She would have certainly noticed he was awake, otherwise.

It was an… incredibly close and intimate position to be in, even if it were relatively "innocent" in nature.

But Ingo, despite being well aware of them, had never really acted upon his romantic feelings towards the Captain.

He simply had absolutely zero idea on how to do so, what to do with himself. (It didn't help that Zisu was so physically affectionate, each hug or hearty pat on the back or whatnot doing terrible things to his poor heart.)

He was comfortable. He was warm, and content.

… So maybe, he could… pretend. Pretend like he hadn't woken up yet. Not question how he got here, and enjoy the moment.

Slowly, he let his tense muscles relax, practically melting into Zisu's hold. He closed his eyes and sighed deeply, basking in the crisp air, the warmth.

This was… nice. It was really, really nice. Even if his face still felt like it was burning.

Soon enough, he began to drift off again, that warmth spreading to slowly encompass his consciousness and pull him back into a dreamless sleep.

(Zisu smiled as Ingo's breathing deepened once more. The poor man had nearly fainted earlier that morning at the dojo -- something about working too hard with not enough sleep -- so she'd ordered him to relax. And of course, she didn't trust him to actually relax, so she'd corralled him off to just outside the village and sat with him underneath a tree to enjoy the fresh air.

It took her by surprise when he began nodding off, and consequently leaning sideways to rest against her, but she certainly wasn't complaining.

Once she had been sure he was fully asleep, she slowly maneuvered him so that she could hold him as she leaned back to rest on the soft grass.)

Idea: The real reason Ingo started exercising with Zisu is because Irida, concerned for his physical health, gave him an ultimatum: train with Zisu or train with Gaeric. He chose Zisu because otherwise he would have died

While there would be legitimate concerns (Irida worries over how Ingo’s back still hurts him so much), I decided to do a more humorous comic haha.

Irida only wants to help get him into shape, but Ingo knows that one training session with Gaeric would probably kill him haha. He immediately and vehemently opts to train with Zisu.

Also all of Akari’s dialogue is made up of recent tags I’ve seen people leave on my posts haha. They would only confuse and concern Irida if she heard them.
