This drawing doesn't make sense in my AU, because Hornet is older than the Vessels.

tiso’s a carpenter ant, but he traveled with field ants in the waste, so he’s got an odd mix of carpenter ant and field ant mannerisms. most prominently his nervous tic (clasping his hands and looking forwards) is actually from field ants! the carpenter ant variant of the same meaning is to put your hands behind your back palms facing outwards- both mean to surrender/to give a sincere apology. tiso uses the field ant version more, though, since he tends to get fidgety when nervous and it’s less obvious if his hands are together vs. if he’s fiddling with something behind his back.

because of… all of that… tiso’s really easy to read. like, ridiculously easy. he wears his heart on his sleeve and its gotten him in trouble many times back in the wastes due to his rocky relationship with his brother and sister. he doesn’t recognize this relationship as toxic, but generally whenever he talks about what they used to do when he’s with other people it’s like a moment of… “oh, that’s why you do that…” because a lot of his mannerisms (including surrendering as a nervous tic) kind of stem from their treatment of him.

he’s not sure what he wants in life. he’s done many things and he doesn’t know if he’s ever been happy as he was. always striving for the unobtainable ideal self that not even he knows how to define. his sense of self is warped by how many names he’s bore and how many titles he’s held and the result is an ant who doesn’t know what to do with himself anymore. he thinks he’d like to teach, but is it what he really wants to do, or is he just clinging to what little remains of his former self? he runs his hands over the warped metal of his shield, wonders if it is because he is simply nostalgic or if it is to remind himself he will never be the bug he once was ever again. wonders if he’ll ever be okay with that. wonders if he’ll ever accept that it’s enough to just be himself.

I decided to add broken vessel, greenpath vessel, and grimmchild so they all can lay down all together

My own personal touch is that vessel can't blink before their 1st/2nd molt so while Hollow and BV can be seen with their eyes close, Ghost and GV eyes doesn't change at all

Also they all must sleep together or else Hollow and Hornet won't sleep/rest at all

No time for subtitles, too much of a rush, too much pressure :(
