Hollow Knight Au - Tumblr Posts
Me and @alaskaartz have made a silly little HK AU called: PK Charm.
The premise is essentially that PK becomes an equipable charm.
His skills include:
- randomly gives Ghost soul
- lore dumps and makes comments about everything
- being an overly worried dad but can't do anything because he is just an apparition
Hollow Knight time travel fix-it but it's THK's shade going back to haunt and chip away at its past-self's masquerade because it thinks the future can be "fixed" by outing its own traitorous impurities and so it lurks around the palace and tries to self-sabotage its former self and reveal its flaws
Calling this AU "The Echo"
So one day I said hey what if Hornet was also infected by The Radiance? And I drew this because more sadness is always good.
Her boss name could be the tainted princess or something like that? I can't think of something more original 😂

I drew one of my Hollow Knight and I'm really happy with how this came out! It's the Autumn variant/redesign of a tree vessel oc that I have, one of my favorite ocs I've made yet :3

Here's my official ref sheet for HollowFormers Starscream! Starscream is based off of a Red Underwing Moth, I tried very hard to make him seem like an NPC you'd realistically meet in Hollow Knight, but i got a bit detailed with his wings. I want him to have his pretty looks :< He is dainty and requires gentle handling.
I love your Bugformers concept and designs, even more so that you took Hollow Knight as the inspo! Wonderful!

So, I have two Hollow Knight AU's, one where Ghost(knight), Quirrel, Tiso, Myla and Cloth travel together(because I love them all!) and another where the pale king decides not to throw his kids in a abyss and all vessels grow together! the radiation is still and the infection is still an imminent danger, but this time it seems to be taking a while to act, so the king is kind of convinced not to throw his children away after finding the Hollow. ;w;
both AU's didn't have much planning, so if you want to ask something I'll give a little information about these AU's, and if you want to help me with that I would be grateful!TwT
Since I've already talked about my AU's, I want to show you the only art I've done of them so far;w;
Royal Family AU (where the pale king keeps the vessels as his children)
These are the only drawings I made of the AU (besides an animatic on my channel with Hornet and Lost Kin)
In that OU Hollow was appointed as king of Hallowest, while Ghost kept in its shadow, neither one of them knowing for sure which is the true pure vessel. (And yes, all vessels have physically grown)
Myla was nearly infected and Ghost snapped her out of her trance, but she constantly suffers from insomnia in fear of falling into the Radiancia's light. In other words they are friends. :3(And Myla may or may not have a small crush on Ghost...... Don't judge me!!)
In that AU, Quirrell remains Momono's apprentice while Tiso trains to join the Pale Court. And as I mentioned... There's some tisoquirrel here, hehehe....-w-

A hint of how I would imagine a post dream no more/embrace the void endign(s)...
Sort of a reference to 'Here Comes a Thought' from Steven Universe. Basically, after the events of the game each of them has a personal trauma, Mayla for having almost fallen under the temptation of Radiancia, Tiso almost died in the Coliseum of Fools, Cloth almost lost an arm during the fight with the traitor lord, and Quirrell... Well, you know ;w;(By the way, Tiso lost an arm.)

Basically they were adopted by Oro and decided to travel through Hollownest, they meet the knight and Hornet and end up discovering more of who they are.
The only ones left.
Starting from here, the Pale King took the Vessels and one by one gave them a purpose beyond the Hollow Knight. All but one...
The return of the Radiance would take longer than expected, but the king would have taken precautions, he had created the pure Vessel, the hollow knight, but with that, he also ended up creating a surplus of other vessels without purpose. During his wait for the Radiance to return, he gave each vessel a purpose, but one of them didn’t seem to fit with anything he offered. With time even he began to forget about the Radiance, and went on as the king of Hollownest, not knowing that slowly the Radiancie would return but not in the way he expected.
They now have a mouth and they must scream

Behind her Pale mask - prelude
The pale king paced around the halls. It was rare to see him pace like that. What was on his mind? Suddenly, the thoughts were cut short by the sound of yelling from across the halls.
“SIRE! SIRE!”
A pale servant ran straight to him, carrying something in his arms. The king’s wings flick in annoyance.
“What is it?”
“Forgive me for interrupting your thoughts sire. But I had found something.”
The pale king’s eyes soften in curiosity. What could this servant have in his possession that could interest him.
“Very well, show it.”
The servant lowered his arms, revealing…a human baby? Impossible! Humans don’t exist!…Do they?
“I found her in the kingdom’s edge. Her mother was no where to be found.”
The pale king studied the sleeping child. A decision came to his mind.
“Send a search party to the edge. Find her mother.”
The king gently takes the baby from the servant’s arms.
“in the meantime, she will be here.”
The servant nodded, running off the condense the search. While that happened, the king placed the baby in a small crib next to his workshop. Soon, he left. He had a lot on his claws. His meeting with Herrah, the other higher beings, and the mantis tribe.
When he left, a small vessel approached the crib, looking down at the small baby. The baby soon opened her eyes, looking up at the vessel. Instead of screaming and crying, she reached her tiny arm to the vessel. The vessel reached an arm back at the baby.
Little did they know, Fate would have much in store for them
