Xisuma is a dragon hybrid. Wels, as the knight he is, has perfectly tamed and defeated the dragon.
They're both surprisingly happy with the arrangement. Xisuma follows Wels' every beck and call without question, and Wels is pleased to have such a powerful hybrid following him. He's smithed a custom collar for him - engraved and bejewelled - and Xisuma wears it proudly in and out of the bedroom, knowing he was bested by a worthy knight.

the fountain statues - i just think its hilarious how the fountain gave all the dreamers the same shape to emphasize the hollow knight, so i had to draw it like so as well (poor monomon, my gijinka design of her is much better than that (lurien's is equally mid tho))

Hornet is not very communicative, she only started to get closer to the other citizens because of Ghost (this happens after the battle with Hornet at the edge of the kingdom)
Quirrel is the closest to Hornet, they knew each other before the infection, but after the fall of Hallownest, Quirrel lost his memories, and Hornet doesn't have the courage to remind him of that.
This is the last moment where Hornet, Ghost and Quirrel are together...
