razor, has his face nuzzled into your side whilst bennett is and miserably failing on trying to put his arms around you, instead he had slung an arm over your stomach and put his face on the crook of your neck.

you look up with your kunai at hand not that it would do much before recognising the faces. it had you frozen. they were dead not alive. is this a hallucination? have you finally lost it? it got you laughing hysterically at yourself before ‘shikamaru’ was kneeling next to you cautiously.

the world was a blur as your vision darkened and your body wavered forward, warm hands catching you and holding you carefully.

“I miss her.” you spoke staring at his side profile with glossy eyes. he falters before walking again; he held you tighter and closer.

he didn’t seem to acknowledge you but you could tel by how stiff his whole body got suddenly. kageyama just couldn’t understand why you can’t support him, why couldn’t you be there? you had nothing important going on so there was nothing stopping you.

“kageyama tobio...if-f you walk out that door...we’re done. I’m so tired kageyama of this and you know we aren’t good for each other...” you sobbed as you collapsed to your knees as the door slammed shut and the sound of footsteps becoming further away was your answer.

he had done it...he had left you now...after everything?! after all the moments spent together...after everything you’ve both been through he finally decides to leave,” you thought bitterly as you cry your heart out, yes you had told him that the relationship would be finished but you didn’t think he would actually.

“baka...” you don’t seem to hear the door reopening until kageyama speaks. he brings you into his arms in an attempt to comfort you despite how bad he is at that aspect. “i would never leave you...i’m sorry-y...”

he buried his face in your hair as you curl up towards him and he can feel you shaking, it’s not fair of him actually it was so horrible of him to do that. “it’s not fair of me actually it was completely unacceptable of me to do that to you because you’re right. I never listen to you at all neither do I treasure you, respect or appreciate you for EVERYTHING you’ve done! you shouldn’t accept me or forgive me but you do you always do. I’m so so sorry.” his response only made you cry harder to the point where you felt dizzy. he was so right.

it took you around forty five minutes for you to calm down, the sobs brought to little sniffs and hiccups. thankfully, your head had calmed down from all the racing thoughts allowing you to think. “okay...okay...one more chance just one more..”

“that’s all I need that’s all I need,” he breathes gently kissing the top of your head as he brings you closer. it was going to be okay...no he was going to be better than before but you as well will try to communicate more often.
