once i lost my at the time favorite toy (a little sonic plushie, i even had a tails to go with him dw i still have tails) when i was little because i was naive and trusted this random girl at school who said she liked my plushies (i brought them both to school that day) and asked if she could take the sonic one home. i said yes bc i was a naive little girl and she never gave him back. she kept making excuses that were so weird... like she said she accidentally threw him out, or she lost him, or she sold him to a neighbor on accident(?! wtf), or other stuff like that. it was devastating to have lost him aaa...

and my parents bought me Multiple versions of the same plush from amazon but NONE OF THEM WERE EVEN THE SAME PLUSH IN THE PHOTO IT WAS SO WEIRD... like id get my hopes up bc we finally found him again then he'd come in the mail and hed be completely different than advertised... i think we bought 3 that were the same plush i lost in the photo only for it to be some completely different version 😭😭😭

i have never recovered from that its been several years now and even when i bring something to school i keep a close eye on it and i dont let anyone touch it unless i trust them and theyre my friend help

i hate feeling so genuinely distressed over the concept of losing a very important childhood toy forever and ever because resellers keep making him unaffordable. i can't buy a replacement when he's being sold for 50-100 dollars. i'm on the verge of fucking tears
