I thought the lost page bit was literal, I thought Viktor ate the page… like a bookworm

Anyways here’s something silly

“Would you still love me if I was a worm?”

“What?” You ask, looking up from your book at a very frazzled looking Viktor..he is standing at the edge of the couch, gripping it for support as he looks off at you a bit too panicked for you to take seriously given the context.

“..well?” He asks, gesturing with his hand to push you to answer with haste

“Viktor..what is this question-“

“If it’s no just say it-“

“It’s not-“ you give a deep sigh, closing your book and making eye contact with him directly. “Yes. I would still love you..”

He stood silently,

You roll your eyes, “..even as a worm” you finish.

He lets out a loud sigh of relief, making his way to sit beside you on the couch and melting completely into your lap once he has laid down.

You look down at him, taking a deep breath, and rubbing his head as you start the search for your now lost page in your book

You walked into Dave’s apartment. almost all the lights were off, the only lighting was from the late evening sun shining through the blinds and the glow coming from his room.

As you walked in his bedroom you could smell the usual sent of apple juice and vinyl, but what you saw was definitely odd.

Dave was trying to light a candle and failing. A few swears left his mouth as he got burnt by a match.

“Need help, strider?” You held back a laugh. The blond stared at you through his shades as you walked over and helped him light it.

“So whats with the candle? If you were going to hold a seance you could have invited me.”

He huffed slightly, much to your amusement.

“I was going to surprise you.” He turned and and walked to his computer as he spoke. Before you could ask what the surprise was soft music started playing from his speakers.

He strode back to you, and though his movements were nonchalant you could feel his nervousness.

He extended a hand to you.

You took it and were lightly pulled into his arms. You placed your hands on his shoulders as his arms hooked around your waist. The light of the setting sun and his computer screen illuminated the room just enough for you to see the light blush across his face as the two of you began moving to the soft rhythm of the song.

He hummed along to the music while holding you and swaying to the music.

This was a moment that he was going to cherish.
