Reminder that the drawing program Krita is completely free and tons more user-friendly for artists than Photoshop while at the same time very similar to it in its layout.

No one asked but here’s a brief tutorial on digital underpainting and how it can add some extra flavor to your art!
(I got asked this a couple times so just to clarify: I used “overlay” in the second slide… but the rest of these examples are JUST painted on, no effects! Try playing with the opacity on your pencil/water/brush tool to allow the base color to show through!)
One of my favourite tropes is "character who you wouldn't think is good with kids is actually great with kids"
Will you share your procreate brushes?
the only brush i use is like. a solid square shape

thats the shape source and grain source
the only settings are set every slider to "none" except for the settings on the grain tab which are set as movement:rolling zoom:cropped and depth:max and on the rendering tab flow:max and uniformed glaze
What are some brushes you like to use?
these are all clip studio brushes i think all of them are free also !!!! realised i have so many brushes downloaded (gatherer instinct <3) but never use most of them except these
lineart:
wrinkles pen
ink-oily pen (the first one) (i thiiiiink this is my other lineart pen but im not sure)
used to use the default clip studio g pen almost always but now not so much
colouring etc:
hoarse oil (painty)
scratchy colouring (brush for filling large areas with texture altho i also just do this by hand a lot)
default clip studio glitter pen
7clubs glitch pen
glitch brush set (genuinely so so good)
retro halftone set (comic book dot texture with little misprint bits i love this one as well)
