Heads Up Seven Up Tag
Alright, a tag game! Thanks @talesofsorrowandofruin, this is fun.
The most recent seven lines I've written:
My feet drag on. This has to be an omen, there is safety in this structure. As I draw nearer to the building, its form falls into place. It is impossibly rectangular, a work of perfect right angles. The edges of its constitution look painful to touch. There is a single, circular window that looks more like an eye. A lens, with which to interpret the outside.
From a project I haven't talked about yet ;)
I'm tagging (only if you want to): @kjscottwrites @bardic-tales @fearofahumanplanet @circa-specturgia @ryan-shepard-writes @leave-her-a-tome @wardenoftheabyss

AHHHHH IM SENDING ASKS @sweetieguk. also replying because I am so, so behind on everything in life. also love these titles ??? you can tell i'm all over the place pfft.
𝐫𝐮𝐥𝐞𝐬 : post the names of all the files in your wip folder regardless of how non-descriptive or ridiculous they are. let people send you an ask with the title that most intrigues them and then post a little snippet of it or tell them something about it! and then tag as many people as you have wips. (you can make your own post or reblog this one!)
here are mine:
❥ 12:01 ❥ Live Again ❥ Destination Seoul ❥ Korean Myths - Abandoned Princess ❥ Scenic Route | knj ❥ What Fate Decides | kth ❥ Random Drabbles ❥ Messy Conversations

OOOh, hmm, I've just gotta ask about "12.01"! How mysterious, not even an alphabet, just numbers! 👀
oh gosh, we're going back to one of my first wip's...
i think i started this about 4-5 years ago and left it unfinished?
the short version of it is: about a teen who has recurring nightmares about her father's death a minute after midnight, the time the accident happened
frankly, it was a very young me who wrote this, not even realizing that i could write characters who weren't white and could represent my culture instead. clearly, i've grown a lot from there, and while i have a fondness for this wip, i doubt i'll ever go back and finish it haha.
but thank you for the ask!
Writing log | August 5
An unexpected output from yesterday is this:

I started plotting my ideas on a diagram 😅 I had some ideas for plot points that come later in the story, but no clue how to get there.
I thought placing it visually in front of me would help because I could write the later-scenes down, without committing them to a timeline and by placing them at a symbolic distance instead. It absolutely worked.
So today will just be about continuing and fleshing out this diagram while I have momentum. The yellow box in the top right contains banked plot points. The goal is to get to that part of the story so I'm a bit clearer what happens and why.
(The stray pink boxes are the "mutual pining" sections btw)
why is it that I can think about my stories all day and plot in my head but as soon as i open a document the thoughts disappear
