so I told you

I JUST WROTE SOMETHING (FINALLY) FOR MY WIP AND IT FEELS GOOD LIKE I'M ENJOYING MYSELF AGAIN AND THE STRUGGLE HAS DISAPPEARED A BIT

I'M SO HAPPY I CAN CRY

me: i miss my wip

wip: then get back to writing

*blankly stares at page*

why is it that I can think about my stories all day and plot in my head but as soon as i open a document the thoughts disappear

me when looking at my characters:

taylor swift is right, i AM the problem

sometimes it's okay to give yourself a one-day break for writing even if you made a deal with yourself

but this is just probably me justifying not writing today

actually very sad i decided to take hard classes this semester for uni :") and no humanities courses because i am very writing and reading deprived which affects me drastically but also i have no time to do all these things because stem takes up so much time...

i don't know if it's me being impatient or me believing that it's finally time for me to start writing this fantasy wip...

i said it was going to happen for nearly 2 years and it finally did: I finished my outline

and i'm so nervous to write it's actually SO nerve-wracking what-

i don't want to go into percentages but the fact that im nearly 7% close to finishing my outline and can finally write this story is unbelievable to me

I do not do research for books I simply sit there some days and think “I need to do more research on [thing]” and then it becomes brainrot which I include in excruciating detail in everything I write afterwards

is it just me or is every writer their worst critic because I am struggling right now just getting through this scene
