Hey, writeblr. Let’s reconnect.

I’ve been a part of the community here for a while now (two years maybe? wowzers), but my dash has gone a little drier than I’d like while my time online was limited by school. I want to connect more with anyone who’s active, new or old, mutual or not!

(TL;DR - I’m a writeblr looking for new writeblrs to follow.)

I’ll (re)introduce myself.

I’m in my early twenties (she/her), and I just finished my first year of medical school. My bachelor’s degree is in psychology and pre-professional health science. I live in the southern US. I write primarily fantasy and read all genres! I post about my writing, my journey, writing strategies and tools, and I reblog a lot from other writing blogs.

My WIPs:

Currently I have two active WIPs, both high fantasy. The first, The Calm Before, is a project I’ve been conceptualizing and re-conceptualizing for a few years. I’ve just started an outline for it and hope to get it off the ground over the summer. You can read the WIP intro here, full summary here, and character intros one, two, three, and four, but I don’t post much about it anymore since it’s under more “serious” construction! Hi I was reading What Fate Decides and went searching for part 3 but the kofi is full and it seems it hasn't been updated in a year. Is the fic still around? 🥺

Hi there!

To answer your question, What Fate Decides is completed and kind of going through the final edit / vibes of like do I need to make it longer, etc. It's actually a very short story and I wanted to see if I should extend the plotline, then got busy with other works.

The fic is still around. I've updated my kofi settings so you can read both part two and part three simply if you support / buy a coffee (though they may be subject to change soon)! Other than that, I'll make sure that the next chapter comes out soon.

Really, thanks for reading <3 I actually didn't know WFD had this many readers, so I thought the fic just died out haha.

i fanatically drown in fantasy and slice-of-life. when i'm bored, i'll cook up some magical realism and romance. sometimes, after my nth midlife crisis, i'll try out psychological horror, alternate history, and sci-fi. and when i'm in the mood, i'll sporadically dabble in quite literally everything else.

my tastes are eclectic. my life is eclectic. i am eclectic. this all reflects onto my writing.

my children projects can be summarized in 3 Hs: hilarious, horny, and hopeless. essentially: my works are cocktails of anarchical bullshit, chaotic characters, fantastic sexual tension, and terrible comedy—and every situation ends in disaster.

i adore all forms of relationships—romantic, platonic, and familial—and tropes like found family, complicated parental relationships, complicated sibling dynamics, and opposites attract.
