I feel like I’ve probably rambled before about how I’m a writer because it’s the only way I could ever figure out how to most accurately get the images in my head out into the world. But can I just vent for a second about HOW ABSOLUTELY ANNOYING IT IS when said images are a perfectly cut trailer for a fanfic that currently only exists in my own head with film footage that almost certainly doesn’t exist at all. I can see it so clearly in my brain, why isn’t that enough to wish it into existence!!!! 😭😭😭

hi ch! this might be a bit of an odd question, but i adore all of your characterizations so i was wondering what ur take is on sirius potentially having romantic feelings for james. ik a lot of ppl disagree w the possibility since they’re ‘brothers’ but i’ve personally always thought that the devotion sirius had for james could have stemmed from some other feelings. at the very least i think he was crushing on james at like 13 lol but i’m curious what ur thoughts are on this.

The beautiful thing about the marauders fandom is that because we have such limited information so, so many interpretations can still technically fall into the realm of canon! I think Sirius having romantic feelings for James can be done beautifully.

For me, personally, however, I am very committed to their relationship being platonic. This is partly because I lean towards an a-spec Sirius, but more because I really, really value platonic relationships in stories being given the same depth, drama, and importance as romantic ones, and for me, James and Sirius are the perfect representation of that. I think James was ultimately the love of Sirius’s life and I think it was both an entirely platonic, friendship love, and also the most important relationship in his life. ❤️

But that is just me and my interpretation, which obviously and most certainly doesn’t make any other interpretation any less valid and lovely!
