So I just found the first fan fiction I ever wrote. It’s 10 chapters (60 pages!!) of self-insert Pokémon fanfic, and I remember none of it. It’s good to know that my hobbies never changed

So I’ve been thinking about Spock and T’Pring’s kiss in SNW...

I think the reason that she was okay with kissing him the human way because she sees him as human. Most of Spock’s backstory has to do with discrimination due to his human herritage, and this might also be a part of that.

Also, in amok time she basically told him that she didn’t want to marry him because he was half human (and in Starfleet, but I maintain that he’s in Starfleet because of the discrimination he faced on Vulcan)

So basically, she thinks he’s human and I could write an entire essay on the implications of that on Spock’s character
