It’s the middle of the night, but I can’t stop thinking about the Doctor burning up a sun to say goodbye to Rose. He hates goodbyes, actively avoids them, but he knew she’d want closure even if it hurt him. Thinking about how if the Doctor hadn't put the dimensional hopper on Rose she would have had half the amount of void stuff on her and so the void may have had less of a pull on her allowing her to hold on better
