He/It pronounsšŸ³ļøā€āš§ļø, Aro/Ace, ADHD mess, and my friends call me "Wattie"...Unfortunately. I'm a Sherlock Holmes obsessed writer and amateur detective from the UKšŸ“󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁓ó æ that wishes he could dress like a Victorian gentleman. My favourite insects are the Snowberry Clearwing Moth and the Stag Beetle. I just use this space to talk about my hyperfixation and fanfic ideas.Profile picture made by @holmosexualitea

Watson is Holmes' favourite hyperfixation, and most certainly vice versa...By that I also mean that they are deeply in love.

Holmes will be likeĀ ā€œI only remember things that are functionally or practically important to my work and forget everything that isnā€™tā€ then go out of his way to memorise all of Watsonā€™s habits and routines

I think people forget Watsonā€™s purpose in the stories isnā€™t only to ask questions so that the case is revealed to the audience naturally. Watsonā€™s purpose is also to ask questions in a way that reveals the case to Holmes. Heā€™s not integral to Holmesā€™s work just to stroke his ego with the stories. He has weaved his way into Holmesā€™s mind so thoroughly that Holmes is at his best when Watson is able to lead the march.

We had superwholock. I feel like we need a fandom word for people who are really into the canon Sherlock Holmes/A.J. Raffles/ Jeeves and Wooster/ Hercule Poirot genre.

THIS! This right here is what I mean when I say that I want modern versions of Sherlock to be allowed to be emotional! Jeremy Brett did an amazing job as Holmes, and truly understood the source material.

ā€‹Holmes before and after being told heā€™s a good boy. Iā€™m not crying, you are. šŸ„²
